WW: Winter Wonderland {Linky}

I posted my cards once when is wasn't done. Since I posted it I changed the snow, added snowflakes, and wrote the text. I used the cake I made from the Oreo Challenge last February on A Nut in a Nutshell, which was really fun. Here it is, finished:

Here's what is on the back. It goes sort of to the song Winter Wonderland. We just left a verse out because there wasn't enough room. In an ideal world I would have come up with a verse for all the verses.

Apel Land

Hey there kids are you listening?
Oh so loud, wish they’re whispering.
A hair raising sight,
Yet we’re joyful tonight.
Walking in a happy Apel Land.

Gone away is the preschool,
Adams Elementary is so cool.
Isaak sings rhyming songs,
As we all hum along.
Jammin’ in a happy Apel Land.

The boys play and fight over Legos,
Left behind are the old Duplos.
Toys are scattered across the floor,
Mom and Dad say, “No More!”
Stumbling in a crazy Apel Land.

Later on, we’ll conspire,
As we play UNO by the fire.
Isaak shows his cards,
Mica is appalled.
Playing in a happy Apel Land.

Each week ends with Movie Night,
And the boys cuddle us tight.
We’ll frolic and play the Eskimo way,
Lounging in a cozy Apel Land.

I also went to help our Kindergartener with making a Gingerbread House. He looked all sad when I got there because he didn't see me walk in the door. He thought I forgot. For the record, I don't forget things like that. He's always been my worrier.
