Thank goodness one of my facebook friends posted a picture of her kids at the park. A light bulb went off, I crawled out from under my rock, and now know about Benson Park.
I know parks aren't that big of a deal. I mean they are all over Omaha. This one is different.
The have a new splash pad. I don't care how old you are, splashing in water is fun!
*Bring water shoes.
The boys kept spraying each other.
Boy will be boys. They kept standing over the sprayers to make it look like they were peeing. I gave them the evil eye of disapproval that my grandma taught me.
Mica in particular would wait and wait for the buckets of water to fill up and fall on his head.
Since it's warm they dried off quickly. They then played on the playground equipment. They have a gigantic playground!
*Bring tennis shoes. We didn't. The climbing things would have been safer, and easier if they had tennis shoes.
This sort of gives you an idea on size, but there's a lot not showing.
Mica liked their porthole.
The there were cool random different things like this music box. When you hit it different bell sounds would play.
A car spinner.
A sand and water spinner.
A play clock.
A dino facts table.
A weather table.
They have a pond with ducks, a fountain, and a dock to go out on. there's pavilions, picnic tables, and more!
We'll for sure go back there!

Don't you love when you find things close to your house that the kids like.
Definitely a fun little park! How awesome it's right around the corner from your house!
OH man, I'd love to have a splash park close by. You're right, no matter your age, those are a blast!
What a great playground!!! I would have totally joined in the fun ;) GG does the same thing-weird? She even turns around so the water at the Y sprays on her "booty". I'm curious if the evil eye worked or not? haha
How fun!!!!
Wish we had something like this near us.... Broxton. Would have a blast!
Woah super fun! Lil Pumpkin would love it and how great that it's so close to home!
Ai @ Sakura Haruka
That is one SWEET park!
We have nothing like that here in the mountains. If we did, it would cost a fortune to get in.
How fun! My kids would have a BLAST there.
That looks like a fun park, especially the splash pad.
