I Love Holidays

I really do love Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter. If I had to pick which holiday is my favorite I'd say Christmas, but I like them all. All of them are work, but fun too!

I work with what I have for Halloween, and usually come up with a pretty good costume.

I get presents year round for Christmas.

Easter time is one big scavenger hunt for the boys.

Thanksgiving is just wonderful because of family, and food!

I just got some super cute gifts for my nephews:

I got the 2 items below from Zulily. Do you ever shop there? I love seeing what they have! Everyone that knows me knows that I'm not into sports. I know other people are. Other people includes my nephews.

Edison (age 2) is getting this train from me:

Elijah (age 8) is getting this football:

I was super excited to get a Manhattan Toy Dog + Cat Beanbag set to review. I was only asked to write a review for them on Amazon, but I like them so much I thought I'd mention them on here too. You can go here to read my full review. I'm going to put them on my 2 youngest nephew's packages.

Aren't they super cute? They are sending me 2 more sets. YAY!

I've gotten other things for my kids. Mica's getting a nice wallet, a face care kit, some Lego set and more I'm sure. He's 11, so he's getting more tween type gifts.

Both kids love The Beatles, so we got them Yellow Submarine bedding sets that's good for all ages. I may get Mica a Yellow Submarine Lava Lamp, and Isaak a Yellow Submarine Snow Globe.

I'm thinking of getting Isaak some nice stamps, ink pads, and glitter that you can heat up with a special embosser. We saw a demo at The Paper Source in Kansas City, MO. Isaak's eyes lit up. Here it is:

Isaak's my harder child to buy for. He just creates, but doesn't really play except for outside, and sometimes Legos.

Have you started to get things for Christmas?

Disclaimer: I did receive Manhattan Toy Dog + Cat Beanbag set to review. I was not asked to review the product on this blog, but wanted to share.

I love holidays too!! I'm still quite taken aback how fast we're entering the tail-end of the year already but that just means Christmas is coming soon!! (we don't celebrate Halloween or Thanksgiving) :)))

The beanbags are too cute!

What a cute little set! Now that the girls are older, we wait until closer to the holiday to buy since their interests change quite often. I love holiday celebrations too!

I have a box of randomness that I have been buying for Christmas for the boys... They just change so much that I (even told them) will be just doing like 1 gift and then cash. They are so hard to buy for and I actually get annoyed trying at times. That is not how it should be...

I LOVE those toys you got (the bean bags) need to check them out.

I like those Huskers items, both of them!!! I used to be big on holidays. Last year I wasn't...we'll see how it goes this year. I still made it fun for the kids. :)

I tried using an embosser for my wedding invitations a few years ago. It was me and my engineer (now) husband … and we struggled. Of course, we didn't watch a demo or anything. We just bought the materials and tried to figure it out. Stress. HOWEVER, if Issak figures it out, he can make some beautiful cards … or whatever he can imagine. :)

I love that your kids are getting Yellow Submarine stuff for Christmas. The Beatles are awesome, so this makes me quite happy! :)
