I mainly got it for my dry forehead. All other parts of my face are just fine. My mom thinks I need to talk to my allergist doctor about my dry forehead. It is not dry all the time. This leads me to think it's not connected to allergies. The air gets dry, and so does my forehead.
The grit is actually coconut and walnut. I suppose they could have added charcoal dust, and/or fine pumice.
When I used this, it didn't feel super gritty. I don't know if that's so bad. Some scrubs are so gritty they feel like I'm taking sand paper to my face.
It doesn't tighten up my face. I'm ok with that too. I actually dislike the feeling of the skin on my face tightening all up. It feels a bit like I'm being shrink wrapped.
It has both olive oil and jojoba oil in it. The product hydrates during the scrub.
You can get it here:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08GYFPVKJ, for $12.99. I'd buy it again. It would work great as a stocking stuffer, or small gift.
Do you use face scrubs?
Disclaimer: I got this product for a discounted price, in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

LOL on the shrink wrapped feeling. I hadn't thought of it that way but now that you said it, I can't unthink it. :) I like walnut in products that I use on my face!
