Sleepy 😴

Isaak and I are going to start taking melatonin. Ever since May happened I haven’t slept well at all. At first I blamed it on me having to wake up at 4:30 AM, for Fresh Thyme, but it’s stayed persistent.

Isaak’s always been more difficult than Mica in regards to sleeping. He oftentimes pops up out of bed at 10 to get water, or to use the bath room. I often wonder if he ever fell asleep. His doctor wants him on a small dose of melatonin.

I was always pretty iffy on the med. There hasn’t been a lot of studies done with melatonin and kids. But Isaak’s past the size of a small adult, so I feel better about it.

Have you struggled in the sleep department, since the pandemic hit?

I have similar issues in the beginning of the pandemic and it's not good at all for me. Then I try to exercise more and get better sleep,Alissa. I know this pandemic is really hitting us hard

The good thing about my illness is I never have problems falling asleep because I'm always so tired. But, if on the off chance that I do have a hard time, I love melatonin. I'm usually knocked out in 15 to 20 minutes after a small dose.

Rodney, Hubbie and I take melatonin and it really works! We have never slept better!

I love that it doesn't give you that horrible hangover feeling in the morning.

I've tried Valerian Root too -- doesn't work!

I know a few people who take melatonin and swear by it. I personally take Valerian Root (can get it in the vitamin aisle), and it works for me.

Veronica and Terra I think different things work for different people.

No struggle here in the sleeping department. I'm up late tonight, but that's highly unusual. :)
