WW: Gifford Farm {Linky}

A farm in our area invited teachers to come visit for free. I asked if college teachers could go? They said, "Yes." We went.

On our way we picked up Chick Fil-a. We don't have one right by our house, so it was a nice treat.

The burros got a lot of attention from our family.

They had on special slippers.

This one looked like it had a cow's body, a horse's head, and donkey ears to me.

A cute burro!

Some horses had on eye covers, so the flies wouldn't get to them. The farmers insisted they could still see.

Pretty scenes on the farm:

We saw goats and sheep, but the spot they were in was fairly dark. They pig acts much like a dog. We weren't supposed to touch him, but a worker came over to let us.

What's your favorite animal on the farm? I think I like the sheep the best. They just feel so cool to pet.

A Little Farm on the Way

This summer when we went on a little trip, we were driving back home, and saw this sign that said, "Feed the goats and sheep." I said, "Why not stop to stretch our legs?

The kids were excited! Can you tell we live in the city?

A random rabbit was hopping around.

Some pigs in a pen.

The most fun the boys had were with the sheep and goats!

You could feed them, but I was mostly out of change. We just visited the capitol; where I spent change for parking. Isaak and Mica fought over change they found on the ground at a gas station. I convinced them to use their change to feed the animals. Then I found some change in the bottom of my purse.

It was cute watching the boys feed the animals.

Travis loves animals. I always feel bad for him that we can't have any furry critters.

It was a fun little, random spot to stop!

Hoilday Program

Isaak had his first Christmas Program tonight. Since he's been kind of moody lately, we didn't know how he would do. He and Cousin Elijah both ask Aunt Terra and I if we would go up and sing with them? We of course said that we couldn't.

They were sheep. Daddy said, "Why couldn't they be something besides sheep?" I said, "Why? What's wrong with sheep?" He said, "Well, sheep are followers." I really don't think the boy's thought about that!

Isaak and Cousin Elijah flocked together in line.

My silly lamb! He kept sticking his tongue out at the beginning. He performed. He sang and did the actions.

I'm not sure what this was about, they both all the sudden looked sad. Right in the middle of the performance. Maybe their favorite song ended? No clue! But I caught this sad look on the camera.
