IPhone 6 4.7 Sport Armband Review

I just got my first SMART phone. It will take some adjusting. So far things are going well except for 2 things:

1. I didn't realize the phone was encased in plastic when I had my first conversation. I had trouble hearing. In my defense my Dad talks to me all the time on speaker phone from a distance. I wasn't feeling very smart using my smart phone though.

2. I'm having a very hard time setting up an Instagram account. My email is already in their system, so it won't let me enter it. When I go to change my password (I've tried everything) it says I'm not in their system. We got my husband set up with Instagram. Just not me.

I got the IPhone 6 4.7 Sport Armband to review. We love it! It's perfect for runs, walks, hiking, and more!

About the iPhone 6 Sports Armband

If you've ever been out running and tried to listen to music or send a quick text while taking a breather you know its almost impossible to use your phone without covering it with sweat or worse dropping it along the way! Many work out clothes I have, have no pockets, so it's nearly impossible to carry a phone when exercising. Now with this armband I can safely interact with my touch screen and listen to your favorite tunes.

Compatibility and Use

Use your armband with the iPhone 6 4.7 inch phone. You can wear it over your biceps or on your forearm. The night reflector provides additional visibility in the dark. This armband is also great for high intensity workouts.

Precision and Protection

The touchscreen is fully accessible through the plastic cover. I have to be honest. I thought at first this would be a problem, but it's not. The armband pouch and cover keeps your iPhone safe from impact and moisture while working out.

Size

It's really lightweight and fits arm sizes from approx. 9 to 15 inches. It is recommend that you use this armband without a case. That could be a problem. I plan on getting sturdy cases for our phones. I'm not sure how easy, or hard it will be to take them in and out of their cases.

Material and Care

Made of nylon, velcro and neoprene materials. Armband can be safely hand washed and air dried after use. It is NOT recommend machine washing your armband as this could cause damage.

Value:

Why pay more? This armband is a super deal at an extremely low price. It also makes a great gift idea! It's $19.95, but on sale for $7.99!

What kind of phone do you have?

BriaUSA 100 Strong Silver Galvanized Metal Hangers Review

This week I changed Isaak's clothes over from little kid hangers to adult hangers. His shirts were falling off the hangers, so it was time.

BriaUSA sent me 100 Strong Silver Galvanized Metal Hangers to review. It's a $35.98 value.

Typically I go for plastic hangers. I have wooden hangers in our coat closet. Isaak has a tiny closet. Metal hangers are just a lot thinner then other hangers.

I love the BriaUSA plastic hangers I put in Mica's room. Their strong silver, galvanized metal wire hangers in Isaak's room are great! They are thicker than typical metal hangers: 16 inch, 13 gauge.

I know they said 100 hangers were coming to me. It's a great deal!

We got a dumpster for a week to throw out stuff in the shed. I had Isaak help me throw out store hangers. The baby hangers went to the Good Will. His closet seems to have way more room even though we didn't really get rid of any shirts.

I love that BriaUSA is a USA store. Everything is from here. They stand by their product. If you don't like it, you get your money back.

WW: Library {Linky}

The boys both read their 10 hours for their summer reading program at the library.

They got bags, loads of coupons, and each got to pick out a book. One child picked out a book on slavery, while the other picked out a book on Martin Luther King Jr. They didn't even pick them out at the same time.

Mica (the older one) is more the reader out of the two. When Isaak hit his 10 hours, he said, "Well I guess I don't have to read any more all summer." Think again kid.

Mica would only smile goofy smiles. This is the best photo I could get of him.

As we were walking out there was a science guy in the parking lot showing kids how to make gigantic bubbles.

Comfortable, Stylish Leak-Control Underwear Giveaway

I've reviewed a few products from Wearever. So far none of them have let me down.

This time Wearever sent me a pair of underwear to review.

They have a lot of selection. I wish that I would have known about these before I had my kids. They have pairs that let your tummy breath. There's a liner in them if there is any leakage. I don't have problems with that now, but when I was pregnant with Mica he was breech, and kept kicking my bladder.  These undies are so comfortable!

They have undies for guys to. They have a liner of fabric on the inside.

Prime Kitchen Review

I love the idea of not ever having to buy paper liners for cupcakes or muffins again. Prime Kitchen sent me special silicone baking cups to review.

At my work we make treats for our birthday, so I decided to make Raspberry Pink Lemonade Cupcakes.

Just a warning: They are not healthy. I didn't really make them for me. I made them for my work. I did sneak to have one, and yes they are tasty!
Cupcakes:
  • 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/8 cup corn starch
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar (I used coconut sugar)
  • 1 Tablespoon lemon zest
  • 1/2 cup butter (softened)
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 large egg whites
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup + 3 Tablespoons buttermilk
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoons lemon juice
Syrup:
  • 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 Tablespoon sugar
Frosting:
  • 1 heaping cup fresh raspberries
  • 3/4 cup butter (room temperature)
  • 2 3/4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • raspberries for toppings
Directions:
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Add to a mixing bowl all the dried ingredients to the cupcake recipe. Stir, and set aside.
  • Add to a mixing bowl all the wet ingredients. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry, and mix.
  • Divide batter among 12 muffin cups. What's nice about Prime Kitchen liners is that you don't need to spray them with cooking spray. Bake in preheated oven until toothpick inserted into center of cupcake comes out clean, about 20 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and allow to cool.
  • Prepare syrup: In a small bowl, whisk together the lemon juice and sugar until sugar has dissolved. Brush mixture over warm cupcakes in 2 coats.
  • For the frosting: Heat mixture in a saucepan set over medium-low heat until reduced by half (to 3 - 3 1/2 Tbsp). Mash the berries. Cool completely (speed chill in freezer).
  • In the bowl use hand held mixer to whip butter until very pale and fluffy. Mix in 1 cup powdered sugar then mix in reduced raspberry puree and vanilla. Add remaining powdered sugar and mix until light and fluffy (if an even stronger raspberry flavor is desired you can add in 1/4 tsp raspberry extract, or to taste).
  • Add one raspberry to top of each cupcake then pipe frosting over raspberry and top with another raspberry.
  • Store in an airtight container.
Lemony Goodness!

With our Prime Kitchen Baking Cups you don't ever have to buy paper cups again. Paper cups just get thrown out, which is bad on the environment, and bad on the pocket book. I'm not saying silicone cups are perfect on the environment. It takes a process to make those. They can be used and used some more for years!

They are also easier to clean than metal cupcake pans. Cupcakes and muffins pop right out of them without using any sprays.

In addition, our Premium Luxury Designed Box can be used as a Dessert Container for taking it with you at School, Work or be used as a Gift!

Why not be creative? These cups can be used for more than baking...
  • Ice cream cakes
  • Cheesecakes
  • Gelatin
  • Chocolate lined desserts
  • Trail mix
  • and more
