Pork and Apples Oh My!

So I thought it would be fun to try slicing up apples, slitting pork tenderloin and putting the apples slices right in it to bake.

I thought it was really pretty good. It did take longer to bake; than what the directions said.

Once it came out of the oven Isaak said, "Awww...I don't want my apples like that!" Mica said, "I don't like cooked apples!"

Here I was excited about this meal. Everyone else was down in the dumps about it. Have you ever had that happen to you?

I made a big pan of veggies to. The veggies were: Zucchini, Tomatoes (out of our garden), an onion, a red bell pepper and a cove are garlic.

I'm the world's worst cook (and do all of the cooking) so it happens to me a lot. ;)

Sorry the boys didn't like your meal. Did you and your husband like it?

Children can be such harsh critics when it comes to dinner!

When you squint yor eyes it looks like the top of a football - the laces. Can you see it?? Or am I just crazy? Wait, don't answer that.

My girls are the exact same. They HATE cooked fruit and veggies and will bitch to no end when I make them. Drives me bonkers, for sure!

I think your dinner looks delish! Sorry they weren't having it though :(

It is definitely very frustrating when the children don't appreciate what I have worked hard on. I think that looks really good. How did it taste?

I hate cooking nice meals and then no one appreciates all the work I did - and that is why I don't make extensive meals that often anymore.

I did some pork with cranberries last week and it didn't turn out so good.
