Isaak Got His Face Painted

We went to Scheels on Saturday. Daddy wanted a punching thing that Mica could use for Jiu-Jitsu, and weight lifting gloves. I went in thinking, "Man we have so many other things to do. Why do we have to go here today?"

We were in the process of cleaning, so I was actually in that mode.

There were tons of people there. It was some kind of baseball event.

We walked by face painting going on. Isaak loves to get his face painted, so I stood in line with him, while the other 2 went to get what they wanted.

It was a long line. According to Isaak, it was worth it.

He wanted their Spider-Man design. No surprise there.

So I attempted to do his hair that day, and it looks so bad. Daddy usually does his hair. I did get a smile out of him.

"Wait Mom...Take a picture of me making a web."

Then he got a cat balloon.

The people that did the face painting and balloon animals that day were tired at the end I'm sure.

While we waited in line Daddy and Mica went on the Ferris Wheel. Isaak saw them and said, "I want to go!" We were still waiting in line.

After that we waited on them. I looked at coats for me on clearance. I decided to get 2 somethings for me, which is unusual.

I never wear pink, but for some reason I like this coat:

Maybe I need a little pink to get away from all the boy in my life. That's what my sister says sometimes anyway. She has 3 boys, and 1 on the way.

Then I got a black winter coat to. The best part, is that they were both marked down a lot. One was $99, and marked down to $77, and the other was $300 and something marked down to $100 and something.

We all got a little something.

Do you wear the color pink?

Looks like you all had a lot of fun. I do not wear much pink although the t-shirt I am wearing today happens to be pink. Looks like we both went out of our comfort zone in colors today.

No wonder Isaak likes that painted face... so cute.
I wear a lot of pink, it kind of is one of the colors that look better on me.

Great post, Alissa! and now I wear pink!

I love that jacket/coat. Nice. When I was first diagnosed in December about this stupid cancer, I didn't want anything to do with pink. My girlfriend had given me a hot pink blanket and I hated getting it, but took it. I left it on the floor of my bedroom for months. Now it is on my bed and I embrace PINK because it means I am fighting my cancer by first accepting it and then by embracing the color of breast cancer, it makes me more courageous and true, obnoxious but that dang color Pink really helps, it does. (hug)

And the Spiderman paint...definitely worth the wait. :)

Face painting is always worth the wait.

Pink isn't my favorite color, but I do wear it.

Not a colour I favour either, but it is the colour of Mother Love (think pink quartz as the healing stone for comfort and 'making it better'). There was a spate of it in my life and one does definitely feel more relaxed when around it... worth noting though that YOUR pink bears a spider on it's 'heart'. HMmmmmmmm &*<> YAM xx

The face paint looks pretty spiffy!

I do like to wear pink, but not often anymore. I made the mistake of telling Jason that I like pink once and from there on out, everything he buys me on his own is pink lol.

That's a pretty coat you got. Isaak looks cute with his face painted.
