Random Tid Bits

  1. I have a coworker that says he hates The Beatles music, yet he whistles The Beatles tunes often. Maybe he doesn't know that Joe Cocker's greatest hit was written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney.

Do you have a favorite Beatle? I used to like John because he brought so much creativity to the band, and different sounds to their music. Then I found out that John basically abandoned his son Julian when The Beatles started, and Yoko Ono came into the picture. My interest moved on to Paul. Paul visited Julian often (I have a soft spot when it comes to kids), when his own father didn't visit him. I kind of feel like Paul is pretty cocky. My interest moved to the quiet George. I do like Octopus's Garden and Yellow Submarine, which Ringo was the lead vocal on those songs, he was never a main player in the band, so certainly not my top pick as a favorite.

  2. My Octopus' Garden

  3. I feel for Travis this week and next. His 2 bosses and 1 co-worker are in Mexico. They are all related and there's a family wedding there. Anyhow he's supposed to be the main guy in charge. Ekkk! On top of it all my parents said they were going on a trip last week, but last week turned into this week. They were like, "I think we'll be gone about a week." They didn't seem for certain. They usually help watch the boys a few days a week. This week and next are when his co-workers will be gone. I will have had my Aspirin Desensitization Wed, Thurs, and Fri. I'm pre writing this on Tues. We were hoping my parents could help take and/or pick up Isaak from Basketball Camp Wed, Thurs, and Fri. Thankfully my older sister has offered to help. Travis' plate is overflowing with manning a lab, finishing his art residency, and being a chauffeur for Isaak. I hate that I'm not able to help.

  4. I have no idea what to expect with this Aspirin Desensitization. Will my lungs freak out? Will I be a snotty, blubbery mess? Maybe it will be dripped so slowly into me that nothing much will happen. We shall see.

  5. Because I'll be at the Allergy and Asthma Clinic for 3 days I've gotten 3 email reminders and 3 phone call reminders. I talked to the ENT office because I double booked appointments for Fri. I told them that I may not need to be at the Allergy and Asthma Clinic on Fri. They said the Aspirin Desensitization will take 2 to 3 days. I asked if I should reschedule my ENT appt? They said, "No." Well now I've gotten a phone call and an email asking to confirm my ENT appt. that I don't know if I can be at.

  6.  I've been trying oh so hard to get rid of a cyst on my forehead. I now had a big red dot from the Apple Cider Vinegar. It seems to be rising to the surface more. I just hate the big red dot.

We just saw the Beatles stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame yesterday. The girls were pretty excited by that find.

Sorry that Travis has so much on his plate this week. Hopefully he gets through without too much of a headache.

Good luck with your Aspirin Desensitization!

Paul, I think is my favorite. I've spent a lot of time thinking about it. It used to be, like you, John, before I realized which songs were being led by which singer. Then, for a time, it was George. Never Ringo though. "Octopus's Garden" and "Yellow Submarine" are fun songs, though.

I'm surprised your parents planned a trip this week knowing you had the aspirin desensitization. Glad your sister offered to help. :) Hopefully everything went well and worked out as expected. :)

I'm sorry to hear about your forehead cyst. I can kind of understand. About two years ago when I was stressed out I developed a zit on my cheek that would not go away. Seriously it was there for at least a month before I found a product that helped. I tried everything except popping because who wants a scar? Turns out it didn't matter. The product I used got rid of the swelling but it left the red mark. Argh. I'm still trying to find a product to get rid of it. As someone who never had many zits as a teenager and doesn't really have too many zit scars, etc… I found it really embarrassing to now have a spot on my face. And I suck at doing the whole makeup thing, so there's that too. Anyway, just wanted you to know I (kind of) know how you feel and hope the apple cider vinegar (or another product?) helps with it soon. :-/ (Have you seen a doctor or dermatologist?)

@ Theresa I hope you got pictures of those stars!

@Mandy my parents went to the SOFT conference, which is the organization that my other sister is a big part of. They do research on Trisomy issues. My nephew has Trisomy 18, as did my sister that I never knew. It's good they went. Timing was rough, but I don't expect them to do vacays around us. They help out a lot.

I'm watching to see what happens with the big red dot, lol. Really. Apple cider vinegar interest me. I've been trying to swallow a spoonful a day with water, but oy it gets hard to get down. I hear it has multiple benefits. I wonder though how hard it is on the teeth so I always brush right away afterwards. Good luck with the chaotic week and the treatement!!

@Alissa I didn't know your parents were going to a conference. I guess they can't work around that. :-/ Conferences are when they are. I guess I just thought knowing the medical stuff you were going through they would try to be around, but, like I said, you can't pick when conferences are. I know, either way, you must be glad all of that is over with!

@indah nuria Savitri part of me wonders if they don't know all their hits. They wrote so many songs, and have a lot of different sounds.
