Favorite Parts:
We loved watching people duel! That's where I got the most pictures.
The food was great! We only got to enjoy a Funnel Cake. I haven't had one for years! It did suck it was so windy. I had powdered sugar all over my glasses. When I tried to clean them off, it was a smeary mess. I heard their beer is good. I didn't have a cold one.
Wishes:
I do wish there were more booths that let kids have hands on activities like making soap on a rope, candles, and crafts. Most of the booths were things you buy. That's fine, but interaction is ideal in my mind.
I loved seeing people dressed up. I couldn't understand why some dressed up as something other than the Renaissance period. It's not a Comic Con. Ha!
This guy said Isaak was wanted:
Prisoner:
Dueling:
The Queen:
Fencing:

I have never been to one, but I think they look so fun!
Very cool. That looks like a fun time.
That looks like such fun! Love the picture of him in the stocks! LOL.
We are learning about the Middle Ages this year, and I so want to find something like this to take the kids to. I think Nebraska is a bit too far though
I always loved going to renaissance fairs. There is just something about them that make them so much fun.
The jousting is always fun. I enjoy these festivals and like you said, the food is great!
I've always wanted to go!!! Might need to actually do it this year!
It's fun to go to festivals or events that have a cool theme!
That's too bad about the wind though. I haven't had a funnel cake ever. I should try one next time I get the opportunity.
Looks like a lot of fun! I'd love to attend a Renaissance Festival someday.
