#Sagano Charcoal Powder Review

We love charcoal powder!

For those that are afraid to use it, keep in mind that they've made charcoal pills for years and years. They help cleanse the stomach. Charcoal is in many tummy meds as well.

It's great for cleaning our teeth! I’ve been using it for many years, and haven’t had any cavities. It scrubs off food and plaque off your teeth. Unlike other teeth cleaners,  Sagano has a natural whitener that doesn’t strip the enamel off. It's also all natural. No aluminum, or other nasty chemicals.

Flavor:

It is a yummy mint flavor.

Just like you can pick other colors with products online, I wish they had other flavor options. Don't get me wrong, I do love mint.

Other Flavors I Think Would be Good as Well:

  • Orange
  • Lemon
  • Cinnamon
  • Spearmint
  • Peppermint

What would be your favorite flavor? What flavor would you add?

Ingredients:

  • Coconut Shell
  • Mint
  • Fine Food Grade Charcoal Powder
Where to Buy Sagano Charcoal Powder:

You can get it on Amazon Prime for $15.95 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074H1ZHPL. It lasts a long time! You just sprinkle a little bit on your toothpaste. It's a 4 to 8 month supply!

Cleaning the Sink:

It does get dark speckles on your sink. That's kind of annoying. If you think about it there's white speckles from normal toothpaste. Remember charcoal is a cleaning agent. If it gets on the sink, it helps you to clean your sink too.

Premium Teeth Whitening Activated Charcoal Powder

I've been using different charcoal toothpastes on my teeth for the last 5 years. My teeth stay clean and I haven't gotten any cavities.

My toothpaste is almost gone, so I thought I try Premium Teeth Whitening Activated Charcoal Powder: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072JTT4N1

Avantage:

Charcoal has been used to clean things for years. It's in many stomach medicines. That's the one ingredient I think that does its job. While it seems new to use on teeth, it's not new to use charcoal pills.

I'm a coffee drinker at times, and a tea drinker other times. I kind of switch back and forth with my preference on what to drink. Ever since I started using charcoal on my teeth the dentist hasn't complained about stains like they did before.

Disadvantage:

It does get black speckles on the sink. The speckles happen with regular toothpaste too, but it's more noticeable when it's black.

Cost:

$50, but on sale for $10! A $40 savings, yet please!

Whiting Strips:

The set comes with some charcoal whiting strips. I just think charcoal powder cleans my teeth well enough, that I don't need the strips. My husband is a Dental Tech. He's mentioned before that A) There is a wide range of how white teeth are, and that's ok. and B) Strips could strip enamel off of the teeth. I don't know about you, but I want my enamel to stay there. I'll just be a good girl, and brush often.

What about you:

Have you used charcoal to clean your teeth?

Natural Whitening Teeth & Gum Powder Review

I love cleaning my teeth with charcoal powder. It sounds so crazy to say that. I've tried going back to the toothpaste that's typically found in the store, and it tastes so fake. My mouth doesn't feel clean all day. Recently I got Natural Whitening Teeth & Gum Powder to review.

This is a powder you can use right on you wet toothbrush.

When I took off the lid it looks like this:

It's an inner lid that pops off easily. The scraper is just meant to put the charcoal on your toothbrush. The only downfall of charcoal is that it can be messy. It's messy when I take this inner lid off, and I get black speckles here and there from brushing. Speckles happen with any toothpaste, but it's more noticeable when you're brushing with something black.

Why Charcoal?

It's a great natural cleaner. It cleans off tea and coffee. With whiteners I always worry about the enamel of my teeth going bye bye. Not with charcoal. I've been using charcoal tooth cleaners for a few years, and I haven't had one cavity. Why? Because it cleans.

Charcoal Powder or Paste?

You can use this charcoal powder on a wet toothbrush. It will do its job. If it seems too strange, you can make a paste. I used:

  • 2 Tablespoons of Coconut Oil
  • 1 Tablespoon of Charcoal Powder
  • 5 Drops of Essential Oil (I prefer orange, lemon or peppermint)
  • 7 Drops of Liquid Stevia
There are other paste recipes online. There's some that contain turmeric and baking soda.

There is no need to worry about using an essential oil that can swallowed. You're spitting it out anyhow.

Cost:

$15, but on sale for $12.50 with Prime. Keep in mind that a little goes a long way!

I notice some people cringe when I tell them about using charcoal on my teeth. Have you ever used charcoal to clean your teeth?

Disclaimer: I received Phaii Natural Whitening Teeth and Gum Powder. I was not asked to review this product. I wrote this post, and was not influenced at all with an opinion. I only review things that I find interesting, or that would benefit my readers or family.
