#cleanup With #multisurfacecleaner TriNova

TriNova Natural sent me two cleaner bottles with sprayers and a cleaning rag to review. So far I've used it to clean my whole kitchen, and a pre cleaning for my gecko Warhol's tank.

I like that the bottles came without the sprayers. It's so much easier on the company TirNova to package and send. No one uses all the cleaner at once, or possibly they aren't ready to use it at all when they've gotten it.

Crazy, but my last job made these sprayers for most places. They probably made these too.

Cleaning the Kitchen:

I forgot and didn't take photos of my before and after cleaning when I cleaned the kitchen last week. We cleaned so much! Some of it I used TriNova, and other parts I used vinegar and water. Both cleaners did a good job.

My family hates when I use vinegar though. They say it smells funny. TriNova had a much better smell to them. I can’t smell after an invasive nose surgery, so I'll take their word for it.

Cleaning Warhol's Tank:

I'm a bit scared to use many cleaners on the gecko’s tank. They are sensitive, and lick everything. I used TriNova to start with, then cleaned it with plain water twice after that. My gecko loves to step in his drinking water, then his calcium powder, and throws moss parties at night.

Before

During x 3 (Seriously Warhol! He had moss everywhere!)

After:

All Natural:

The cleaner is all natural, plant based. I'm careful about what I use to clean with. My geckos are sensitive, yet so am I. With having allergies and asthma I do not like to use toxic anything in my life.

Rag:

I love the rag that came with it! It picked up the moss and powders in Warhol's tank easily. It's soft, so won't scratch furniture.  The rag and cleaner work on any surface, but I've only used it on formica, wood, shelf liner (Warhol's tank), and metal in the sink.

Where to Get it:

You can pick up TriNova Multi Surface Cleaner at Lowes. It's our preferred hardware type store to go.

It costs $17.97.

What is something in your house that you need to clean?

UpNature The Best Citronella Essential Oil Review

I recently got: UpNature The Best Citronella Essential Oil to review.

What is it Used For:

  • Mosquito Repellent
  • Candle Making
  • Torches
  • Skin Use - Perfume
  • To Freshen Up a Room

Unfortunately we don't have any mosquitoes just yet. ;) There's snow on the ground right now. I have used it in a spray to freshen up my office.

Room Spray - Cleaner:

1. I steeped in different mason jars lemon, lime, grapefruit, and orange peels in white vinegar. I did this for a few weeks.

2. Then I put in 1/2 of the steeped vinegar, and 1/2 water in a spray bottle. It's not best to put essential oils in plastic, but it's much better than the 409 they always use. My nose didn't hate me!

3. Next I used drops of lemon oil in all, but the lime. I used Citronella in the lime cleaner. Guess what? No one complained about the smell. I just had different students fighting over what scent they wanted. I was expecting my boss to come in, and complain that it didn't smell CLEAN, but he didn't. Instead I heard, "It smells really good in here!" His wife that also works there said, "I think your cleaners are a hit!

Everyone was happy!

I can't wait to use Citronella for a bug spray. I seem to be a mosquito magnet. Seriously I get bug bites when Travis gets none.

A Little More About Citronella:
  • It comes in a 4 ounce jar, which lasts a long time.
  • A little goes a long way!
  • It has a lid, and a glass dropper. I have to be honest, I usually throw the lid away, and keep the dropper in it.
  • Cost: $19.95, but on sale for $14.97. That's with Prime.
  • All natural ingredients.
Have you tried essential oils? What is your favorite one?

I received Up Nature Citronella mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Leather Conditioner and Cleaner Review

Another product that I got from Leather Nova is Leather Conditioner and Cleaner. It's so nice to be able to clean and condition all at the same time. I don't have to use 2 products when I use this!

It comes with an application pad; just like all their other products.

Other traits of Leather Nova Conditioner and Cleaner:

  • It's made in USA. I like when products are made right here.

  • Their premium ingredients effectively remove dirt and stains from leather surface. I did have great success cleaning my leather sofa. Generally on the last cushion it gets hit the hardest with dirt. Isaak likes to cuddle with me on our couch. Since we have all wood floors, our feet pick up everything.

  • Adds vital nutrients to nourish the leather and keep it soft and supple. The conditioner and cleaner made our leather just look newer.

  • Protects leather from future tear and wear, Prevents premature drying or cracking.

  • Manufacturer Guarantee: Leather Nova backs their products with a 365-day Money Back Guarantee, no matter where you buy our product. If you're not satisfied, simply contact us and get a full refund.

  • It's non toxic, and environmental friendly. Allergy approved.

The cost isn't bad at all. Especially since you only need to buy the one product. It serves two functions: Cleans and Conditions. It's $29.95, and on sale for $19.95. Get it while it's on sale. I don't know about you, but when I've looked at other leather cleaners they are super expensive. It's good to know you can get what you need for a reasonable price.

It Cleans:

Leather and vinyl surfaces (except Suede and Nubuck.)

What do you find yourself cleaning the most in your house?

HomeRight Steam Machine Review and Giveaway!

I am really excited to tell you about the new product I got to review! It's a HomeRight Steam Machine.

The SteamMachine was well packaged. It came double boxed. I seriously felt like it was Birthday or Christmas time for me. Inside the brown box was a white box.

I've been looking for easy ways to clean things. I suffer from allergies and asthma, so keeping things clean is a must! The Steam Cleaner kills 99% of all bacteria and germs! There is no added chemicals needed to clean with this machine.

It can clean many surfaces such as hard wood, tile, vinyl and linoleum surfaces. The steam lifts up the dirt and germs, and the pad wipes the surface clean. It can be used to remove wallpaper.

I knew it came with extra parts. Never did I expected so many parts though! They really have a tool to clean just about anything. Most of the tools fit within the steamer.

All these smaller tools can be stored in the HomeRight Steam Machine.
The measuring cup and funnel allows you to pour water in the steamer with no mess at all. Within 8 minutes after filling the steamer up, it's ready to go. The cloth is super soft and washes well.
It is  a Multi-purpose steamer loaded with attachments. Here's just some of the things it can clean:
  • stoves and stovetops
  • grills
  • floors
  • tiles
  • bathrooms
  • window ledges and windows
  • wallpaper steamer used to remove wallpaper
The first thing I wanted to clean was the door inside the oven.

Once upon a time Daddy decided to burn out waxes in our oven for a sculpture. I wasn't home. He had a good fire going on in our oven! Well we scrubbed at the oven door and it would not come clean! The Magic Eraser wasn't so magical. We didn't really want to buy a new oven at the time. The door has sadly been like this:

After 15 minutes of using the HomeRight Steam Machine our oven door looked like this:

I used it all over the bathroom to:

Before
After

The squeegee works great on shower doors!

After

I am so happy with this steamer! Especially with the oven door!

Glass and Surface Cleaner Review and Giveaway {Rafflecopter}

Tropical Traditions sent me a bottle of Household Traditions Glass and Surface Cleaner - 32 oz. to review.

I love cleaning knowing that I'm not spraying harmful chemicals all over.

No ammonia, alcohol or harsh volatile solvents
0% VOC (Volatile organic Compounds)
No rinsing required and Non-streaking
No fragrance or dye added

Please click on Read More on the bottom of the post to enter the giveaway!

I work at an art college. With all the chemicals in paint and other mediums, I really don't have too many issues. When it's time for the students to clean, I get a huge headache from the cleaning solution that they use. At home I'm trying to go all natural.

Tropical Traditions Glass and Surface Cleaner contains only water and mild plant-based surfactants. It's a product which guards my families health from harmful irritants and inhalants. This cleaner contains no dyes or fragrances. It still does it's job!

I loved how you do not need to use water to wipe it away! It's fast drying, steak free and lint free. It can be used on ALL glass including mirrors, light fixtures, Plexiglass, windshields, treated glass, TV screens and computer screens! Other surfaces include: Chrome, appliances, vinyl, stainless steel, plastic, porcelain, countertops, walls, floors and much more.

I've been cleaning little and big areas all weekend. The first area I cleaned was our glass door. The wiped area is where I cleaned and it did a great job. If you look close, you can see where I didn't get yet. The little kid hand print is towards the bottom left of the picture. I also cleaned the mirror, shower doors and kitchen table.

If you buy Tropical Traditions Glass and Surface Cleaner by clicking on any link in this post, Tropical Traditions will send you a free recipe book to use Coconut Oil.

You can win a win a spray bottle of Glass and Surface Cleaner.
This giveaway ends in 2 weeks, February 6 and is open to the US. Click on Read more to enter.
