WW: Nebraska State Capitol {Linky}

We went to have fun at Morrial Hall this last weekend. Afterwards I wanted the boys to see our state capitol. I just love the building and art. They seemed to love it as well.

They loved that their little voices that are so loud echoed throughout the building. It's a good thing hardly anybody was there!

Like I said the art is pretty cool to look at!

Here's the outside and a sweet door on the inside.

So pretty!

Even the shadows are cool!

What seems like endless hallways!

This is the floor!

This is the ceiling!

Have you ever visited your state capitol?

The boys look like future models. I think they like the strike a pose stance. And they are good at it. ~Mary

What a beautiful capital building! Love the paintings. I need to take my kids to our capital, it is only 45 minutes away. I bet your boys learned a lot while they were there :)

Thank you for the nice pictures. Did you visit 'Elephant Hall' to visit the "Nebraska's largest natural history museum includes the world's premier collection of fossil elephants, interactive paleontology exhibits, American Indian exhibits, ... " (Google) in Morrial Hall?

I attended the U.N. way back in the 50's but didn't graduate from there.

Lucky that they could play with the echo and sounds when you were there. It's beautifully designed!

Beautiful place. I heard they're little voices echo all the way to Tennessee.

I got a lot of the same pictures you did. We went on a weekend and I was surprised the doors were open. It was almost empty, and very nice!

That is such an awesome building! I've been to Washington's state capitol, but I was very young and don't remember it. Is it just me, or are your boys getting taller (and older looking)?
