ParentSavvy Super Hero Exhibit at the Omaha Children's Museum

About a month ago Mica and Isaak were in a commercial for ParentSavvy to showcase the Super Hero Exhibit at the Omaha Children's Museum.

The boys had a lot of fun. I do have to say that Mica looked gigantic on their zip line. That boy is sure tall!

We waited on the sidelines, while the boys played.

Are you ready to see the commercial? The boys are in the background, and there's a good shot of them in the obstacle course. I think it's Isaak that says, "Yay" as he goes down their slide. They show his shoes with lime green laces.

Have you ever been in a commercial?

The boys got a thank you card, and another trip back to the Omaha Children's Museum.

On Friday We Went to the Children's Museum

Grandma and Grandpa Spiehs and I took Mica, Isaak, Cousins Evan and Elijah to the Omaha Children's Museum.

Mica on a camel. He was crazy like, playing with everything, bouncing from one station to the next. It was like he was on speed, but I assure you he wasn't.
Grandpa Spiehs with Isaak. Isaak was the crier in the group. He would go to play on something, get to the top and cry for me to get him. He kept asking for Mica to help him, but Mica was too busy to stop and see that his brother wanted him at his side.
Evan kept asking, "When can we go to the next room?" over and over again. Elijah messed his pants before we got there.

This proves that no kid is perfect! Whenever there's a negative, there's a positive. Well all had fun!

Children's Museum - Lincoln, Nebraska

  • The boy's were very excited to visit the children's museum in Lincoln, Nebraska!
  • Mica was literally jumping up and down with a smile on his face!
  • This is were we got a lot of pictures.

  • This is only half of what they had. The boy's were all over the place! It was hard getting photo's of them that were not blurry!
  • One of Mica's favorites was what I called "The Mole Holes." They were holes and hills that kids could climb in and come out somewhere else. I thought it looked like fun, but I hated that Mica would go in and disappear. It made me think of a kid being kidnapped, and a parent not knowing. Isaak got kicked by an older kid, so we just had to watch them all over.
  • Isaak liked the BIG Melissa and Doug full sized dogs that were in the vet.
  • They had all kinds of play stations including a pizza parlor, vet, doctor's office, grocery store, 911, farm and more!

Summer Plans

  • Daddy has a one man art show coming up in July.
  • We're not going on vacation until early August. Right before school starts up again.
  • Lincoln, Nebraska, which is one hour from here is where we are going. We're going to visit their Children's Museum and then onto another museum, Morrill Hall that is packed full of dinosaur bones.
  • After that we're spending one day at The Great Wolf Lodge in Kansas City, MO. Then it's back home we go.
  • We wanted to go to South Dakota this year, but time is cut short. I'm kind of glad because Isaak's still pretty little to travel far.
  • Our long term goals for vacations are Colorado, so the kids can see some bigger mountains and maybe someday we can take the kids to a beach. I'd love to make my way back to Savannah, Georgia some year. Taking the kids to the beach would be fun! We live way to far from one. I'd like to wait until they can remember those trips.
  • Go Graham Go and Jolly Mom have some special summer giveaways coming up. Read about ways to receive extra entries here.
