Groove Life - Edge Silicone Rings Review

My husband makes most of my jewelry. He designs it, can cast it, and sets the stones. 

He hardly wears his own wedding ring. With his trade he uses his hands all the time. They get dried out from plaster. 

My Dad rarely wore his wedding ring either. His knuckles were so big. He had trouble getting his ring up and over his knuckle. Once it was on it was loose.

The Great Thing About Silicone Rings:

-They are not expensive! The one they sent me is $29.95, which is way cheaper than the standard wedding ring.

-There is a lot of different looks: 91 on their website for men right now. 88 on their website for women right now.

-They have ones for men and women.

-They have different sizes to choose from. Men's run from 8-14. Women's run from 4-11.

-They stretch a big, so they'll go over big knuckles. They'll also come off when it's hot outside, and a finger swells.

-There are made with a medical grade silicone, so there aren't metal allergies to worry about.

- Because it's a medical grade silicone your finger won't get as hot as a traditional wedding ring will make it.

They do let you trade out sizes, if the size doesn't work. They also have a great warranty. If it breaks, they let you exchange it.

Like I said above this ring is $29.95. The cost does very due to the style of the ring. They do have shipping options. I got mine fairly fast! If you want it delivered within 6-7 days it's only $1.99, if you want it delivered within 3-5 days it's only $2.99, and if you want it delivered really fast within 1-2 days it's $29. That still makes it cheaper than any traditional ring.

The Only Downfalls:

There is no stone selection. That's known upfront of course.

Reusable Silicone Food Storage Bags Review

I try and do my best to recycle, compost, and reuse.

I recycle the paper at work. Travis uses the compost for the garden, and we pretty recently got compost worms. We reuse lunch bags, water bottles, most sandwich bags, and grocery bags. Of course we reuse things to create art. 

I'm a big believer in doing all I can on my end to help our home. Am I perfect, no. I could always do more.

Right now I have a 1/2 of a ham in one of them. Typically I'd put ham in a ziplock plastic, throw away bag. Not any more.

I have net produce bags. I like using them, but often they don't hold moisture in the produce. I can see using these bags for produce!

They also hold liquids. In fact there's measurements on it. Berries that I pick would work great in these bags!

Perks and Downfalls:

They are easy to clean!

The red sliding bar is not easy to slip on and off. I think I have it down. One came slightly cracked on the inside. It still works just fine.

Borosilicate Glass Water Bottle Review

I ❤️ this glass and silicone water bottle made by Borosilicate.

What I Love:

It has a no slip bottom. That's not to say that it will never tip over, but it's less likely to. I have only glass bottles that tip over too easily.

It has a silicone handle, so if the bottle is hot with tea you can hang onto it without burning your hand.

It has a loose tea basket! That's the most amazing thing ever!

Isaak has a sore throat. I hope he doesn't have what I had last week: Strep Throat! I steeped loose leaf tea with fresh ginger. Travis happens to be breaking up dried hot peppers from our garden last summer, so I told him to sprinkle pepper into his drink. I swear it kills the germs inside a sore throat!

What I Dislike:

The fact that it can't be microwaved is annoying. I know I'll want to use this at work. I thought for sure, since it's glass that it would be able to be microwaved. Nope!

I used a 2 cup measuring cup to pour over the tea. You could use a ceramic mug too.

It is glass and a BPA free silicone. The silicone is probably what prevents it from going in the microwave.

24 Set Silicone Baking Muffin Liners | Cupcake Liner Cups Review

My boys love muffins, and cupcakes. I don't make them all the time. We do have muffins once every few weeks. 
 
We have so many June Berries that we pick from our tree, which work great in muffins. They replace any recipe that has blueberries in them.

I got a set of 24 Silicone Baking Muffins Liners | Cupcakes Liner Cups for review. I don't think I'll ever have to buy paper liners ever again! :) 

The Silicone Baking Muffins/Cupcakes Liner Cups are reusable, which makes them environmentally friendly. They are BPA free, which is a relief. 
 
They are nonstick. The silicone is flexible, which allows easy release. 
 
There was 24 Silicone Baking Muffins/Cupcakes Liner Cups - I counted. There are 6 different colors: Yellow, Orange, Magenta, Dark Blue, Light Blue, and Green. I do wish they had an option to get a set of darker colors as well.

With all the colors it's a new way to enjoy your blueberry, banana, pumpkin, vanilla and chocolate chip muffins. Also great solution for holding candies, nuts and other party snacks. 

The company sent me a PDF recipe book with the order. The cost for these is $39.99, but on sale for $11.99!

I love that these cups fit inside a regular sized muffin pan. 
I've have a small 4 set of Set Silicone Baking Muffins/Cupcakes Liner Cups I got before that do not fit inside my pan. I make a mess using them. 
With this 24 set I didn't have any mess factor at all!
