Awesome All Day Every Day

Isaak is awesome all day every day, except when it's picture taking time. Then he's a punk! Ha!

The kid that has been bothering him all year, the one who's parent were getting a divorce is kind again. Isaak's little group let him back into their friendship circle. I think his parents are working it out. I don't know if that's a good thing, or not. If their kid is nicer than maybe it is a good thing. Usually Isaak has trouble letting things go. This time he let bygones be bygones.

Mica started volleyball at school. When Isaak went to his first game Travis said Isaak was a real cheerleader. He was saying, "Come on! Play like you mean it! Get out there, and go after the ball!" Travis said that Isaak should have been their coach.

Isaak never shuts up. He's in constant chatter mode. He's always full of ideas about things he wants to do.

Do you consider yourself as outgoing, or creative like Isaak?

Tri-Spinner Fidget Spinner Toy Review

I love creative toys. I have a box full of them. I just got another Tri-Spinner Fidget Spinner http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XJZDXDF to review. I think these things are so much fun, and relaxing.

It comes in a small box. It's so perfect for a gift. I plan on giving my boys Tri-Spinners for Easter. They'd work great for any holiday really. These fidget toys would even fit in a stocking at Christmas time.

Glows in the Dark:

This one is a light grey color. Guess what? It glows in the dark!

Here it is not glowing-

Here it is glowing-

Spin:

It spins for about 5 minutes if you give it a really good spin.

It's not meant to stare at. It's just meant to spin, and sometimes look at. It's for people that love to fidget. I know a few of my art students have them. They are great for anyone with: ADD, ADHD, and on the spectrum. My sons don't have any social issues. I do notice that they always have something in their hands though.

What I Love About This Toy:

  • There isn't any noise
  • It takes up very little room
  • It's glow in the dark
  • It helps increase concentration
  • It's not expensive: $20.99, but on sale for $14.99 with Prime

If you have kids what kind of things do you give them for Easter? What kind of things did you get when you were younger? I got a basket with a spring outfit in it.

I received the Tri-Spinner mentioned above for free. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Random Tid Bits

  1. I've been seeing some strange things, so I guess the first two are about those things. The first one is a winter tree I saw in a crack in a sidewalk. The boys walked right by it like it was nothing at all.

  2. The second image were lightsabers I saw on the floor. Really it was a reflection from the mini blinds. A real battle was going on. ;)

  3.  I came home and Isaak had a paper Playground made. I thought it was pretty creative.

  4. We went to the grocery store. Mica was mortified that Isaak had googly eyes on his face. No one even looked twice at Isaak. The next day when Mica picked out something that didn't quite match I acted mortified. Then came clean that I was just giving him a taste of his own medicine.

  5. By the way Isaak isn't high in the photos, nor does he have pink eye. He has allergy eyes.

  6. The boys are really into making their own games that no one really wants to play. I think it's great though. Creative for sure.

Shy

I have an uncle that's shy. For a long time I was unsure how to read him. He's nice, but given the moment he'll go downstairs, when everyone else is upstairs. I just always thought he just didn't like to talk a lot. I think shy people are often misread.

When Mica was downstairs once I noticed he was cuddling with my uncle. It sort of threw me for a loop.

Mica has a way of getting quiet people out of their shell.

A few weeks ago we went to La Festa Italiana. It's full of food, music and fireworks. We met my friend and his partner there. I've known Mark since we were in middle school, and was friends with him from high school on. His partner Andrew is like my Uncle Steve. Andrew wouldn't disappear to be in a room by himself. He's still pretty shy.

Mark and I were chatting up a storm. I haven't seen him in awhile. I looked across the table, and there was Mica and Isaak chatting Andrew's ears off.

What were they talking about? The Batman game that they know Andrew has on his Wii. They were telling him all about Batman 2 they have on their DS. I'm sure they told Andrew way more than what he wanted to hear about the game. - Knowing my boys.

Do you think shy people are often misunderstood?

I once knew someone else that was overly shy. A lot of other people took her as stuck up. I kept thinking, I know her. She's not stuck up. She's just quiet. Sometimes shy people have more going on in their creative brain then other people. There are times where I didn't know if I should approach a shy person with conversation, or if I should let them be in their quiet and comfortable world.

WW: Box Seats {Linky}

The boys had a creative streak on Sunday.

Isaak put on his Lowes Clinic apron backwards. He was pretending it was a Superman cape. He was humming the Superman theme song and running around with his arms extended like he was flying around the house. They were introduced to the Christopher Reeve's Superman series last week.

Later on they pretended that our house was covered with ice. Isaak kept saying, "The walls and floor are cracking." They jumped up on our new hallway rug because it was their boat. They were ready to sail away from the ice.

Even later I made lunch and came into the living room to see them like this:

They took boxes and turned them into seats. I was going to use one of those boxes to wrap a gift in. Oh well. They were having fun!
