Flavored #motionmatcha Green Tea with Real Fruit - Review

I feel better when I have greens in my daily diet. I have steamed kale or collard greens in the morning, spinach leaves in my smoothie and at times matcha tea at work.

Matcha tea makes me feel energized without feeling jittery like when I drink coffee.

Recently I got Flavored Matcha Green Tea with Real Fruit to review.

Flavors:
  • It comes in a plain Matcha flavor. Cost: $34.99
  • I got Matcha with Strawberry and Lemonade. I like that they use real fruit for the flavoring. I really do love the taste! It has a more of a lemonade after taste. Cost: $38.99

There's Only 2 That Could Use Improvement:
  1. The bag was not very full. I'm ok with how much I got. You really only need 1 small spoonful for each drink. What I have will last for a long time! I just wish it was in a smaller bag, so less waist goes in the landfill.

  2. Like any Matcha it will clump up a bit. This isn't something against this brand. All Matcha's clump up. You can have a small whisk handy. I put it in a container with a lid, so I can shake it up before and mid drink.

Will I Buy This Again?

Yes! I like the flavor. Even better is the health benefits. Japanese Match is good for me. I like how it makes me feel awake. Being a teacher I have to pretend to be wide awake, and happy all the time. This is a better alternative to coffee.

It's Nice That This Can Be Consumed Different Ways:
  • Cold with water *Like I have shown.
  • Hot with water *Great for when I'm sick, or have a bad allergy day.
  • In a smoothie with other things *Just a little bit goes a long way.

Isaak liked his sip of Motionmatcha.

Organic Ceremonial Grade Green Tea Matcha Review

I got Organic Ceremonial Grade Green Tea Matcha to review. I just love this stuff! This tea is new. It comes from Japan.

This tea can be drank with just water. That's usually how I drink it.

It comes sealed up with a lid, a metal tab on the inside, and it's in a sealed bag. It's ultra fresh. You can buy their 1 ounce container on Amazon for $28. For each serving you only need 1/2 a teaspoon.

Directions:
  • I heat up water in a jar
  • Add 1/2 a teaspoon of KissMe Organics - Organic Matcha
  • Whisk it until the Matcha mixes in, or put a lid on the jar and shake it
  • If you don't drink it right away you'll have to mix it up again

When you purchase KissMe Organic Matcha they have a Free Recipe E-Book.

I drink matcha mainly with water. I do have a smoothie almost every morning. I decided to try it in a smoothie.

Their Soothing Green Smoothie is tasty.

Ingredients:

2 tsp. Matcha
½ cup spinach (steam and cool)
¼ avocado
½ cup banana slices
¼ cup coconut water
¼ cup orange juice
1 tsp. honey (optional)

Blend it all together, serve, and drink.

Eggnog Matcha Green Tea Powder #Giveaway!

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

I love traditional eggnog. The problem is that it can be so high in cholesterol. Now I have found a much better alternative. Red Leaf makes a matcha tea that is eggnog flavored. It smells so good, and I love the flavor.

What I like is that it can be drank hot, or cold. I even split one serving of dark hot chocolate 3 ways, and added unsweetened almond milk with a serving of Eggnog Matcha in the boy's and my drinks. I topped theirs with marshmallows. We all loved it!

You can drink it with just milk (any kind), or water. It can be served as a warm drink, or cold in a smoothie.

A little bit goes a long way! You only need 1/2 teaspoon added to whatever you are having it in. They offer special size 10g of naturally flavored green tea powder ($10 value). Enough to make 5 drinks. 4 calories per serving.

What is Matcha?

It’s a green tea powder and the healthiest green tea.

Why Do People Drink it?

Usually you steep green tea only to drink the water and throw away the leaves that carry the most nutrients. When drinking Matcha powder you drink the water or milk AND the powdered green tea leaves. It's a finely ground powder, so it's ok to drink.

It has a nice after taste. It does not taste like eggs. It has more of a vanilla taste to me.

Flavors:
If you do not like Eggnog, Red Leaf has other flavors.
  1. Chocolate Matcha
  2. Sugar Buster Matcha
  3. Acai Berry Matcha
  4. Strawberry Matcha
  5. Noni Matcha
  6. Aphrodisiac Matcha
  7. Cherry Matcha
  8. Madagascar Vanilla Matcha
  9. Wheatgrass Matcha
  10. Pomegranate Matcha
  11. Stevia Matcha
  12. Carmel
...and believe it, or not they have more flavors!

Caramel Matcha Green Tea Powder Review

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

I've drank Matcha Green Tea before. The one from Red Leaf is so good. It's caramel flavor. It smells so good, and I love the flavor.

The packet is pretty small. A little bit goes a long way! You only need 1/2 teaspoon added to whatever you are having it in. They offer special size 10g of naturally flavored green tea powder ($10 value). Enough to make 5 drinks. 4 calories per serving.

I had it three different ways:
  1. As a smoothie- I put in 1/2 teaspoon Caramel Matcha Green Tea in the blender, a few ice cubes, and a cup of almond milk. It has a wonderful aftertaste!

  2. In hot chocolate- I put in just enough water to fill the bottom of a mug, heated it in the microwave, added 1/2 teaspoon Caramel Matcha Green Tea, and stirred it until it dissolved, added a spoon full of dark hot chocolate, filled it with almond milk and heated it to the desired temperature. It was good!

  3. In coffee- I just made a cup of coffee, and added a 1/2 teaspoon of Caramel Matcha Green Tea to it. It gave my coffee and subtle caramel flavor.

Why Drink Matcha?

It's one of the healthiest and tastiest teas out there. What I like is it's so versatile in what you can put it in. It's full of antioxidants, full of fiber, and helps fight off cancer. It also assists people in fighting off weight, and is a blood detoxification. It's an energy booster. Sometimes I need boosting.

Flavors:

If you do not like Caramel, Red Leaf has other flavors.
