Magnifeko Herb Scissors Review

In the summer time we eat a lot of green onions. I chop them up, and put them in eggs. They are really good in eggs.

I was happy to review Magnifeko Herb Scissors. It's a scissors with different blades. They make cutting herbs easier. You can get them on Amazon for $30.00 - on sale for $12.50.

About:
  • They are 5 times as fast as other kitchen sheers.
  • They come with 5 blades to tear and shred herbs.
  • There handle has a soft comfortable grip. The handle is made of silicone. If you are cutting up a lot of herbs, there is no discomfort holding these scissors.
  • These scissors are durable. They are made with a stainless steel. They won't rust, bend, or corrode.
  • They have ultra sharp that blades hold their edge well.

  • They come in green and red.
I did like that they cut herbs up in a snap. I didn't like that the green onions I was cutting would get stuck in the blades. I got a knife out to pop the onion pieces through, but that was one more thing to clean. I see myself using these more when I'm cutting up a ton of green onions, but not for day to day use.

Incredibly Versatile:
  • Great in the kitchen to cut up herbs.
  • Great in the garden.
  • Shred up paper for crafts.
  • Have them around to shred up documents that need to be shredded. I find that credit cards get stuck in the machine, so you can use these scissors to get the job done.
Simple Clean Up:

There's enough space between the blades that makes cleaning the scissors easy. They are dishwasher safe, but I cleaned them in the sink with hot soapy water.

Safe:

They scissors come with a blade protector. I like that a lot. My kids reach in the drawer where is scissors will be kept.

Rocks Paper Scissors.

A few days ago I post about how Isaak ransacked his room. That night after posting that he wrote on his floor his name in crayon. Luckily wiped clean. At this point in time I'm really glad we have wood floors.

We didn't take away his toys. Instead we took away what we hated taking away, but knew he'd actually hate to. His paper, scissors, crayons, markers and marbles got put in a box and taken away. Those are the things he plays with the most. They are also the things he is getting in trouble with. We believe that the punishment if possible should match the crime.

He was put to bed at 7 that night.

The next day Daddy was doing homework with Mica. I was already at work. Daddy heard the water running. He said, "Isaak why is the water running?" Silence. Daddy said again louder, "Isaak why is the water running?" He said, "I'm washing my rocks."

There wasn't that big of a mess in the bathroom sink that I had just cleaned. Daddy took away Isaak's rock collection to.

It's funny that taking away his toys just wouldn't work as a punishment for him. Every kid is different.

For the record, I don't think Isaak's trying to be bad. I really think he's in an experimental phase. One of my co-workers actually brought that to my attention today. One good thing is that he seems to be moving out of the separation anxiety phase. He doesn't like to be left upstairs when I go downstairs to do laundry (without telling him). He does however feel much more comfortable about going to his newish preschool.

Haircut

Yesterday Isaak was sitting down for a snack or lunch. Daddy was in the living room. Daddy said that Isaak was really quiet. He asked Isaak, "How are things going?" Isaak was silent. Daddy walked into the kitchen and noticed Isaak was again being quiet.

In Isaak's glass of milk was a little bit of hair. He had decided to use my craft scissors on his hair. Daddy ran his fingers through Isaak's hair and a bigger tuff of hair fell off. The damage was done within his hair. It's not very noticeable. I'm thinking maybe we'll just leave his hair as is. It's pretty cold to buzz it short!

Mica's never cut his hair. He did take a brand new shirt and cut a big hole in it when he was in preschool one year.

Coupons

Daddy was just making fun of me this morning for cutting out coupons. Isaak asked for a scissors. Then he told me, "I cutting coupons Mommy!" I wonder where he gets that one? ;)
