#longsleeve #pullover #sweatshirt Review

I've been purposely picking out tops that will go with these Bohemian Shoes. What would you wear with them? I like them, but whatever I wear has to have these colors in it, and be really busy like they are or not busy at all. I think this shirt goes well with them.

Colors:

I'm happy with the aqua color I picked out. It's not a color I normally wear.

It also comes in: Tan, Grey, and Blue.

Sweatshirt or Shirt:

On Blacknear's site they call this a sweatshirt. It's not thick like a sweatshirt. It's more like a shirt to me. It doesn't bother me. I like that it's thinner. If I want to be warm, I'd prefer to dress in layers. Then if I get hot I can take off the top layer.

Fit:

I like that the arms in this shirt are longer than most shirts. They could easily make this shirt one of those that has fabric that fits into the hand. I think it would work with the style. I have problems with my arms being too long for most shirts. It's pretty frustrating. The sleeves goes slightly into my hands. YAY!

The collar doesn't seem to want to sit right, for me. Maybe it doesn't have to. The material isn't stiff.

Fabric:

95% Polyester
5% Spandex

It does feel super soft.

Machine wash, and tumble dry.

Cost:

You can get it on Blacknear for $53, on sale for $33. The sale price makes it reasonable.

You can get it here: https://backnear.com/collections/sweatshirts-hoodies/products/zipped-neck-long-sleeve-pullover-sweatshirt. They do have Paypal, for funds, and tracking. It did take a month to ship. I'm so spoiled with Prime. I just don't like waiting for my package to come.

Did you get any new clothes for Christmas?

Womens V Neck Shirts Criss Cross Top Review

I hardly wear pink. I always felt like it's a color for little girls. As I age I find that I like it more. Possibly because I'm around boys all the time.

I just got this pink, or what the company Bele Roy calls a champagne colored shirt.

Colors:

2 Blacks
Blue
2 Wines
Dark Grey
Navy
and the Champaign I reviewed

I do like the variety of colors! Maybe they could add teal, yellow, red, red-orange.

Materials:

65%Cotton
35%Polyester

The material is super soft, and lightweight. Perfect for hot summer days. It's been around 100 degrees all week. I need to wear something lightweight.

I do like the criss-cross tunic style.

Matchy Matchy!

I don't usually do this, but I picked out this shirt to go with my new shoes. I love the shoes, but what do I wear with them? They have a lot of colors in them. I think pink stands out the most, so the shirt goes well with them. The shirt can be dressed up more by wearing it with a shirt too.

I've been super into patchwork furniture. I think that's what made me like these shoes. If you don't know what patchwork furniture is google "LIAM Patchwork Couch". I love it! It might not be for you. I'm a little color crazy sometimes!

Sizes:

The shirt runs from small to XXL.

It ran true to size. I have gained some weight from being on meds to help me breathe. I need to loose weight. Living and breathing is important too. Some shirts have been feeling tight. This one doesn't tight. It's loose and cool. Possibly too cool for early spring, and late fall. Perfect for now!

Cost:

$11.99 to $16.99 on Amazon Prime. That's not bad at all. You can get it here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07TSJ6TLR

What color would you have picked out?

Tunic Review

I ❤️ the colors and patterns in shirts. I have to say that many shirts we have in the US are fairly bland. The shirts that Aincrso are so much more than typical US shirts.

Choices!

I did have trouble choosing a Aincrso shirt. In the end I tried to pick a shirt that was different from anything else I've owned.

I also really liked their black shirt with colorful flowers on it. A part of me wished I would have picked that one. Not because of the colors, but because of the cut. I'm not a huge fan of the line right above the stomach line. The black tunic with flowers didn't have that same line that I noticed. In all they have 15 different choices, with varying colors and patterns.

Sleeves:

I like all sleeve lengths. I do have one slight problem, I have ape arms - also known as really long arms.

Long sleeves sometimes aren't long enough.

Short sleeves can only be worn comfortably in the spring and summer here in Nebraska.

3/4 sleeves are ideal! They can be worn any season, and I don't have the problem of my arms being too long for the sleeves.

Where to Get This Tunic:

You can get it on Amazon http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BLQDQLN for $19.80 on Amazon Prime.

What do you look for in a shirt?

@softsurrounding Merchandise #LiveSoft Breakwater Pullover Review

My favorite color is red orange. There are not a lot of red orange shirts out there. Guess what? Soft Surrounding has one. The color is actually called Emberglow. I do feel like I'm glowing with it on. You can get their Breakwater Pullover here

Besides the Emberglow I Got They Have Other Colors:

  • Ibiza Blue (a bright blue)
  • Magnolia (a light grey)
  • Chartreuse (a lime green)
  • Tropical Green (a blue green)
Hands down I like the color I picked. Maybe that's just because I don't see my favorite color in a shirt very often. All the other colors are pretty too.

Sizes:
  • Misses: XS (2-4), S (6-8), M (10-12), L (14-16), and XL (18) Cost: $89.95
  • Petites: PXS (2-4), PS (6-8), PM (10-12), PL (14-16), and PXL (18) Cost: $89.95
  • Women: 1X (18-20), 2X (22), and 3X (24) Cost: $98.95
It was sized just right.

Dress Up or Dress Down:

I've worn this shirt to work with black pants and tan pants. It can be worn dressy.

At home I've worn it with jeans.

Either way it looks great.

Details:

I love the different buttons and the loopy colors!

I feel like I have to bring this up. My first shirt had some snags. They sent me a new shirt. I thought all was right with the world when they sent me a new shirt. It too had a yarn snag. Then I read the online reviews. Someone else got a shirt with snags too.

Maybe I'll be able to fix it on my own. I should say that with a big question mark because I have no idea how to work with yarn.

Care:

This is another thing that I don't know what to think. It's hand wash, and line dry. Anymore so many things are machine wash. If I'm going to spend a lot on a sweater I'd like to care for it just like my other clothing items.

What I Think:

I love the pullover color, fit, feel and unique buttons. I dislike the fact that it's unraveled, and the care that goes into it.

Spider-Man T-Shirt Review

A long time ago I got a Captain America shirt to review. Mica's loved it so much. When the company offered another shirt to review I jumped at the chance. Isaak picked Spider-Man! He's always been one of my favorites as well.

Isaak said, "Is this what I'm wearing for Halloween?" He could. I said, "This is a shirt you can wear anytime." He was so happy about that.

Since I reviewed the Captain America shirt awhile back I can tell you that the colors do hold up. All the shirts have designs all around the shirt.

You can get their shirts here: https://babiesrhere.com/products/t-shirt-superman-batman-spider-man-captain-america-hulk-iron-man-t-shirt-men-fitness-shirts-men-t-shirts

They have:
  • Superman
  • Batman
  • Spider-Man
  • Captain America
  • Hulk
  • Iron Man
Sizes:
  • Small
  • Medium
  • Large
  • XL
  • XXL
  • XXXL
  • XXXXL
I got Isaak an Adult Medium. No more kid sizes for my boys. Their sizes run small! Isaak fits in an Adult Small, but I knew from the Captain America shirt that they run small, so I got an Adult Medium. I wouldn't want to get it any smaller considering it's fall, and will be awhile before it's summer again. Although it's now technically fall, and it's been in the 90s for much of this week. That's unusual for Nebraska.

Design:

I love that the design travels to the back! It's so cool!

Since I've asked you what your favorite superhero is before, I'll ask you this: If you could have a super power, what would it be? I think I've been asked that question 100 50 times by my boys. I'd probably pick the ability to disappear. Then I could watch my children, but I wouldn't hear, "Mom!" over and over again. I'd like to see how they could handle their own problems with me out of sight.

Disclaimer: I got this Spider-Man shirt for a discounted price in exchange for an honest review. This company didn't influence my review. I only review products I think will fit my family, or my readers.

Panopliz Glitter Heat Transfer Vinyl Review

I am super excited to share with you Panopliz Glitter Heat Transfer Vinyl.

They Come With 6 Sheets:
  • Silver
  • Gold
  • Pink
  • Red
  • Black
  • Green
Size:

9.8" X 9.8"

Uses:
  • It's meant for clothing. You can add it to shirts, jackets, coats, aprons, skirts, canvas bags and more. Isaak wanted a shirt, so I made a shirt for him.
  • I plan on using it within mixed media art pieces on canvas. I haven't tried this yet, but will show you when it happens.
Flashy Gold For a Boy:

What does a mom do when a boy loves sparkly, shimmery, shiny gold, and wants it on a shirt? Well I had to make him a shirt. There's no chance I'd find a shirt in the store with flashy gold.

He agreed to a pirate shirt.

Process:

If you have a Cricut Cutter that's ideal. The instructions include a Cricut Cutter. I don't have one. It took awhile to cut out the design by hand.

Once the work of cutting it out was done I set out to iron it on. The side with the glossy film is up. Iron especially the pointed cuts.

After it's ironed - let it cool. This doesn't take very long. Peel up the film. That's it! You're finished.

I had no problems with it folding, or wrinkling up. I did place it a little too low on the shirt. Sometimes I have trouble with placement on clothing.

Isaak loves his new shirt!

I made it big, so it will fit him in the spring and summer.

I can't wait to try and use it with my art projects.

Cost:

$25.99, but on sale for $17.95! Get it while it's on sale.

Have you ever worked with vinyl?

PAUL JONES Mens Casual Slim Short Sleeve Shirt Review

My son went up to men's sizes this year. He was lacking in dress shirts. Picture Day came and went. He was looking in his closet for a shirt just like the  PAUL JONES Mens Casual Slim Short Sleeve Shirt I got to review.

Thankfully we have many more occasions coming up where we have to dress up.

What I love about this shirt is that it can be worn casually with jeans, more dressed up with black pants and a tie.

We still have to wash it. Those fold lines are in it. That's pretty normal for a dress shirt.

Colors:

  • It comes in Wine Red like he has
  • Light Blue
  • Navy Blue
  • 2 Whites (one with the different colors by the buttons, and one without)
  • 2 Blacks (one with the different colors by the buttons, and one without)

Wine Red has always been my favorite color on him, but I like Black too. White and Blue are just too light for boys that aren't quite men yet. They play too hard, and dirt shows up on them.

Material:

60% Polyester
40% Cotton

We had a few random threads on it, but otherwise it's perfect. It's slim fit, which Mica is fairly slim. Fit wise it's great. There's room to tuck it in if he chooses to wear it for a dressy event. I just need to wash it to get rid of the fold lines. He was just so excited to put it on.

Cost:

$25.08 on sale for $13.98. If you have Prime shipping is free.

I'm pretty happy with this shirt. I think he looks sharp!

Cooling Base Layer Tank Top by Homaste Review

Disclaimer: This is a sponsored post. I received the product mentioned in exchange for this review. All opinions are mine.

I'm always on the lookout for shirts that fit my oldest. He's now in men sizes. Yikes! How did that happen? He's not too picky with clothes yet. He certainly has his favorite shirts. He's into sporty shirts, with fabric that stretches. I'm so happy that I found him a tank top that has the same type of material as the shirts he loves so much.

Cooling Base Layer Tank Top by Homaste has the best material.

It's a tank that is meant to be worn in layers. It keeps his temperature cool where the tank is worn. He can wear it to do anything boys and men like to do:

  • To the gym
  • To the beach
  • To school (for boys)/work (for men)
  • To do yard work
  • To amusement parks
and more...

If you have a boy/man in your life that's picky with the way clothes feel, this is the perfect tank for them. It's tag-free, seams can not be felt, and the material stretches as one moves. The material allows moister to be wicking. Meaning sweat and water dry fast on it. It's odor free.

It's made of cotton, polyester/lycra blend. It's cool with a silky soft touch.

The tank will not ride up, bunch up, or untuck its self. It's a fitted tank that has a material that breathes.

Sizes:

  • Small
  • Medium
  • Large
  • Extra Large
It's a little big on Mica, but he'll grow into it. I've been buying him small adult sizes for shirts.

One thing I did notice on pictures of other reviews on Amazon was that the armpit area is pretty tight. Mica doesn't have the problem, but as he grows he might.

If I could change things about this tank they would be:

  • To give more room in the armpit area.
  • To make it a little shorter. How it is now it brings attention to the gut.
  • To offer more colors to choose from. It's only offered in white. I think this tank would look great in black and charcoal grey as well!

Cost:

$19.95, but on sale for $14.95 with Prime as an option.

Do you or anyone you love wear tanks alone, or under your shirt?

Mica Has New Swag

One of the things that Mica got for Christmas is a PUMA shirt. Isaak got something similar.

I have to admit, when my mom showed me the shirts she got the boys I was thinking, They certainly look like my sister Terra's choice. No offense, but we have different tastes in clothing. Sports, brands splashed on shirts is not my thing at all.

I thought about it, and figured that the boys may have different tastes than I do.

Sure enough they loved the shirts!

Much of the time I pull the kid's shirts out of their closet, throw them their clothes and say, "Get dressed please." Since we've been on break, Mica's been trying to wear his PUMA shirt very often.

He said, "I'm so happy I got this shirt! I now how swag in my wardrobe." When I think of swag, I think of classy. Like a swag walk would be graceful. Men's clothing: Swag would be suspenders, and a fedora.

I've also heard of swag being cool merchandise. In the blogging world swag would be things you get to review, or extra crap stuff you get at conferences. His shirt must be cool merchandise.

Swagging it Up!

Upcycled Shirt

Isaak goes through jeans pretty fast. He puts holes in the knees. This time I decided to cut the pockets out, and reuse them on a shirt. For Christmas I got him buttons with his name on them from Zulily.

Isaak wanted this design. I did it, and the pockets were too close to his armpits. It looked cute laid out, but not on.

We changed the design up a bit. I sewed one small pocket on a bit pocket, a button on that, and two other buttons. Little man kept bouncing all over, so I didn't get the best picture. We reused a few jean pockets. Isaak's happy with it.
