Stainless Steel Smoothie Straws - Set of 5 Review

If you're a long time reader you know that we drink smoothies a lot. We have one 3 or 4 times a week. I love the new Stainless Steel Smoothie Straws - Set of 5 I got to review!

We love these straws! Isaak is not a huge smoothie fan, he loves them now that he has a straw. They really are the secret to the perfect healthy smoothie.

What's in this smoothie?

  • A handful of spinach leaves
  • Frozen bananas
  • Frozen strawberries
  • Ground down probiotic (I use a coffee grinder to grind probiotics down)
  • Unsweetened almond milk
We try new things in our smoothies all the time.

The straw kept my drink cold, and I felt like I was drinking in style. Smoothie doesn't get stuck. The straw is wider than most straws.

Better For Us, Better For Our Environment

Stainless Steel Reusable Straws are safe. They have no harmful chemicals that plastic straws have. No worries about BPA being in them, or worse chemicals than BPA. We reuse them, so straws are going into the landfill from us.

This set comes with a straw cleaner. The straws are wider than normal straws, so I found that I don't need to use the brush every time. I did use the brush on them, and my thermos I use for work. It cleaned my thermos straw out well.

You can clean these in the dishwasher. I have only hand washed mine. I hand wash something every day, so I clean my straws in with that sink full of dishes.

Why Their Stainless Steel Straws Are Better:

  • High Grade Stainless Steel
  • Unique Design
  • Straight & Extra Wide Makes Sipping Thicker Shakes & Smoothies Easy
  • They Won't Bend
  • They Won't Rust
  • They Won't Break Like Glass or Plastic Straws Do
  • Plastic Free Packaging
  • No Chemicals
  • No BPA
  • No Phthalates
  • No Metallic Taste

You will save money, and cut down on toxins by using this set of straws.

If you are a malt, or shake fan these straws work for that to! :)

Cost: $24.90, but on sale for $9.90! Pick up a set, or 2 on Amazon today!

Disclaimer: I received this set of Stainless Steel Straws for a discounted price for the purpose of this review. The opinions are 100% mine.

Hydracentials Sporty 25 oz Insulated Stainless Steel Water Bottle Review

I'm a water drinker. At work I go through a lot of water.

I bring my own water to work. I bring water because...
  • Omaha has the 7th worst drinking water in America.
  • My work only has water that is out of the faucet, with no filter.
  • I'm still trying to work at loosing weight. To do that flushing out my system with water is so very important. I need to keep track of how much I drink.
  • I'm in the classroom much of the time, so water needs to be in something covered to prevent spills.
I don't like to drink out of plastic because of the chemicals in it. Also if I do want tea, plastic can't go in the microwave. Up to this point I've been drinking out of empty Marzetti Salad Dressing glass jars. They have lids, and can be microwaved.

There is a slight problem I have with drinking out of glass; I've dropped 2 of them. They broke, sharp glass pieces, and water went everywhere. Students also joke about how I have moonshine in my glass container. It does look like moonshine.

I got a Hydracentials Sporty 25 oz Insulated Stainless Steel Water Bottle to Review.

No it can't be microwaved, but there are so many other perks to this water bottle! I still have a glass jar for hot tea at work for tea. Now for the most part it doesn't look like I'm drinking moonshine.
Price: $34.95, and on sale for $27.95.
  • It has a flip cap and straw for drinking. That helps, so water doesn't spill out when it's being transported.

  • It has a double wall vacuum insulation.
  • Ice will fit in the opening.
  • It really keeps drinks cold for hours.

  • It's BPA free, and eco friendly.
  • It holds a lot of water (25 ounces to be exact), which is what I need.
  • It's stylish. I do like the white. For those that do not like white, it's the only value/color it comes in right now.
  • It has a rubber base, so it doesn't clang when you set it down on a table.
  • It fits its easily is most cup holders Product Dimensions: 12" H x 3.25" W Capacity: 25oz (750ml).
  • It's great for the gym, biking, hiking, and taking all kinds of places.

What do you drink out of? What is your preferred drink?

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Rock Pretty Baby

I found another company that's pretty dang sweet! It's called Rock Pretty Baby. They have a lot of eco-friendly products.

This robot shape sorter is sweet! It's like a puzzle. This would be great for Isaak's age! I think Mica would want to play with it too.

I love these snack containers. I've seen them at other stores. I like how they are stainless steel and can be put in the dishwasher! We go through snack containers like crazy. Especially when my husband watches our 2 nephews plus our own 2 boys.
This is a Gro-egg: Color Changing Digital Room Thermometer. Such a sweet idea! I love that it lights up like a night light and it tells you the temperature. Blue is too cold, red is too hot, orange is getting up there and yellow is perfect. I think this would be great for a bedroom or if you hang out downstairs where the thermostat is not. My Organized Chaos is giving away one of these!
