Football

So Daddy and I just started sharing weekends when the boys started back up at school. It's going to be an adjustment.

I used to run errands on one day, clean the morning of the next and have fun with the boys one afternoon and between errands. Like the Lowes Clinic fit in with errand day.

Well Daddy said to me, "We have to find a way to do errands during the week. Then we have time to spend with each other as a family during the week."

I said, "Between working 40 hours a week, making dinner, doing dishes, going to the Y and more I don't think I can fit in going to Costco during the week."

He said, "Well it has to happen."

Tonight I said, "That's really too bad you can't watch football games during the weekends."

He said, "WHAT? I'm watching one next weekend!"

I said, "Oh well you can't. we have to have family time during the weekends."

He said, "You can run errands while I watch the game."

Men!

Seems reasonable to me. Actually I detest sports but I know a lot of people are really wedded to them.

My wife works out of the county and only comes home on weekends. That's our family time, but our kids are grown and gone so we can just do things like going out for lunch and driving in the mountains.

LOL at the way you noted it was too bad he couldn't watch football, hhahaha.

MY husband missed all day of our youngest child's bday a couple of days ago for a fantasy football draft!!! Crazy. We had dinner/presents/cake together that night.

I like football. Men love it! ;)
