WW: Hail Damage {Linky}

I just got done getting an upcycled nose: Deviated Septum fixed and Polyps removed. Then it happened! Lots of baseball sized hail! The biggest I've ever seen!

Boy were we hit! Our newish Subaru Outback has about $6,500 worth of damage. Our old Honda Civic has about $3,500 worth of damage.

Rings of broken glass on the windshield:

The inspector finally gave up on counting the dings on our vehicles. :( I know it's a little hard to see with all the reflections.

My husband checked out the roof, and said it looked fine. I said, "We need to have an inspector out anyhow." We need a new roof, and all new gutters.

Thank goodness for insurance, but it still is expensive with all my medical stuff on top of it.

What's the worst damage you've ever experienced?

The year we moved to Colorado our par of Littleton was hit hard by hail. Happily our car was in the garage, and except for minor flooding through our window wells we were ok. Many in our neighborhood got new roofs and house paint, etc.

Oh my. So sorry to hear this. I've never seen hail that big!!! When I was in grad school in Indiana, we had a hail storm that I totally missed (I was in the library). Walked out to find my car pitted all over. Thankfully no windows broken. I think it was about $2000 in damages. Crazy stuff.

Yikes! Makes me glad I have a garage. 2 years ago a tree fell over on my best friends car during a heavy storm. Completely totaled it.
