WW: Braces {Linky}

The littlest man in our house got braces last Thursday. He had no choice. There was not enough room in his mouth, for his adult teeth.

He had to get some baby teeth out, to make room for big teeth to come in. He had a space maintainer.

This Thursday he got braces.

I had braces, for too long really. I just know because my roots are small. They say if your roots are small you've had them for too long.

I remember the pain. Isaak hasn't complained too much.

He did complain when a ball from Goalball hit his mouth. The poor boy started bleeding. For a moment I thought we'd need to go back to the Orthodontist, but he was ok.

He sure looks like a pre teen with them in!

In case you're wondering he lives in this coat. He has a closest full of shirts, and covers them all up with this coat. Ha!

He is still eating soft food for the most part. I'm sick of oatmeal, applesauce, smoothies, soups, yogurt and so on. I'm not even eating all those things when he eats them. I hope he gets used to them soon enough.

Here he is eating a Goodrich Malt. A few years ago he said, "Can we get those mulches?" I had trouble understanding what he was talking about. When he said, "Goodrich Mulches" I knew he meant "Malt". I still call them "Mulches". He goes right along with it! Ha!

Did you have braces when you were a kid?

Braces are a good thing. He's a handsome young man too.

I didn't go to to a dentist until I was an adult. So no braces for me. I could have used them too.

Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. ♥

I wore them twice and all 5 of my kids wore them. I did my best to talk the orthodontist into taking them off one kid and putting them on the next but he wouldn't do it. Your Issak is handsome!

Thankfully, I didn't need braces when I was a kid. But both my boys did.

Happy Wednesday, A!

The weirdest thing with braces is when they finally come off and they show you the photo of the 'monster teeth' before - and you wonder how you never noticed they looked that bad!

I can't begin to tell you how my children should've gone to get braces when they were little, but unfortunately I had 4 (four) children and I was a single Mom, so I never could afford them, and believe me I can't tell you how many times I cursed my x-husband... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!! Good job, Mom, and he's so handsome too... such a handsome smile he'll have! Awwww What a good Mommy you are! You treated that handsome little man to a Chocolate Malt for being a good boy for the dentist. Cute!!!! Thanks for sharing girlfriend. Great pictures, you have every right to be very proud! Have a great week.

I never had them, but Mariah did. They told Allison she didn't need them. Leah got hers on in July. My biggest complaint from her is not flossing well enough now, even though she's been shown how to several times.

I think he looks great with his braces on!

He looks good in braces. Several students have gotten them in my my classes. One girl always wants to go out and rinse her teeth. She doesn't seem to be taking to them well. :(
