Bring My Routine Back

Mica has taken up a new hobby. That is weight lifting. I'd like to get back into it. Back into some form of exercise.

I am just having a bit of a struggle getting used to my new non existent routine. Wake up at 4:30 to be to work by 5:30, for a few days. Then work from 1:30 to 9 or 9:30 other days. I was spoiled with an 8 to 5 job before. It's rough. When I do have down time I'm looking, for other opportunities, chilling to watch TV, or falling into a slumber on the couch.

Do you find when your routine is uprooted that you have a hard time getting back into the swing of things?

Feelin Girl has many thigh and waist trimmer outfits on sale. The one pictured below went from $128 down to $68.

They have a lot of size options: Small, Medium, Large, XL, XXL and XXXL.

I really need to tone my booty. Feelin Girl has a get booty sculptor. I never knew this type of thing was even a thing, one could buy. You can get this, for nearly half the price. It was $98, and is now $58.80.

They have a lot of size options: Medium/Large, XL/XXL and 3X to 4X.

Colors: Green, Red, Rose Red, Black, Yellow, and Orange.

The one thing I am super self conscious of is my pudge of a belly. Feelin Girl has high waist shaping shorts. They help hide, and take care of the pudge. They were $98, and are on sale for $48.89.

The pair they have runs from small all the way to 6XL.

What do you feel like you need to tone up with your body?

HICKIES

HICKIES are no tie elastic shoelaces.

Isaak in particular is horrible on the knees of his pants, and shoelaces. He's just the typical boy with clothing. Mica never was a rough and tumble kid. At least Mica was born first, and his clothes can get handed down. I'm always saying, "Isaak get up and walk on your feet, not your knees." and "Isaak tie your shoes!" I really hate when he's playing basketball and his shoes are untied.

If you're like me, and you get after your kids for needing to tie their shoes everyday before they step out of the house, you'll want to try HICKIES.

Hate stopping to tie your own shoes mid-walk or run? HICKIES products turn any pair of sneakers into convenient, comfortable, and stylish slip-ons that are perfect for any activity from a small activity to a rugged workout.

https://www.hickies.com/ Features:

  • They work in any shoe with eyelets.
  •  One size fits all.
  •  Elastic material keeps shoes secure and comfortable.

Never tie again! Play uninterrupted. Fun look, without messy knots and bows. Adjustable tightness. Quick and easy - simply slip on and off.

Salbakos 2 pk Oversized Cotton-Silk Bath Towels Review

We have 2 colors of towels: Grey and Yellow. They go with our rug in there. Some of our towels were looking kind of drab. I got Salbakos 2 pk Oversized Cotton-Silk Bath Towels to review.

They Come in 4 Different Colors:
  • Gray
  • White
  • Taupe
  • Ivory
I picked gray. I have had white, ivory, and yellow towels in the past. They tend to show their ware faster than gray in my opinion.

Fabric:

They are a luxury 95% Turkish cotton-5% Italian silk bath towel. I've already washed them. I wash clothes, sheets, and towels before using them. They stayed super soft. I did dry them with wool balls that had drops of lavender and lemon essential oils on them to give the towels a nice scent.

They are made with no harmful chemicals, no pesticides, and are eco-friendly. With all the allergies in our house I love that the company American Pillowcase is environmentally friendly.

Size:

30x60, which is a nice big size.
Cost:

2 for $99.99, but on sale for $49.99.

Thoughts:

I'm glad I got this set. They work well in our bathroom. Most importantly the towels cover my body after a shower.

You could take these towels to the beach, swimming, to a gym, to a spa, and more.

PKB The Portable Kettlebell Review

Now that our membership is on hold at the Y I've been trying to come up with other ways to workout. I now have a stability ball, and a PKB Portable Kettlebell.

Portable

What I love about the Kettlebell is that it comes completely flat. It's perfect for taking with you for an extended stay somewhere, or if I want to take it to work to workout during lunch.

When finished, the PKB empty weighs less than 10 oz.

It really is a great workout!
  • Great for new users (me)
  • Home training and for the office (me)
  • Boot camps (my boys) At times ;)
  • Young athletes (my boys)
  • Boys and Girls (me)
Safe!

The material is like hanging on to a thin seat belt, with a soft rubber handle. It's fits nicely in your hands, but is durable. It's soft, so it doesn't beat up my arms when I press with it.

The material is safe for any flooring. That's wonderful because we have wood floors that get scratched up easily.

Designed to protect! The PKB can be dropped and tossed without destroying you or your surroundings, within reason of course! I won't leave it around for the boys to toss here and there.

Fill it With Anything!
You can fill it with dried beans, rice, sand, gravel, cans in the kitchen, or even water just to name a few things. It won't leak at all.

Weight ranges from 0-45 pounds.

The Most Versatile Kettlebell Set On The Market!
This Portable Kettlebell from PKB is without a doubt the answer to your kettlebell training questions.

The PKB can be used as a dumbbell, weighted ball and more allowing you to create full body workouts with one piece of equipment.

Key Features
  • Handmade of Ballistic Nylon: Puncture, tear, abrasion resistant
  • Use just about any filler: dry or wet sand, pebbles, gravel, dirt, mud...
  • Webbing reinforced: 1,800lb+ tensile strength
  • Includes a 4" X 3" swath of loop velcro to personalize with patches
  • There are 3 different weights you can buy: 15 pound, 30 pound and 45 pound
  • Prices very on the weight you buy: $44.95 to $79.95
  • Made in the US
My only complaint is that some of the weights were out of stock. They only have the 30 pound in at the time of writing this review.

I debated what to fill in it. I had rice around. Sand seemed like a match.
