I love chocker style necklaces. The Handmade Freshwater Pearl Choker 'Cinnamon Glow' is my newest. 

I love how it's neutral enough to go with different colored shirts. So far I've worn it with a gold laced shirt, and a red-violet shirt that has gold flecks on it.

About the Artist: 

Her name is Anusara Konkam. She was born to a small but very warm family consisting of her father, mother, and her older brother. She loves art and nature and considers herself a 'natural' woman. She likes to create embroidered works and grow flowers at home. When she was a child, she wove jasmine garlands to sell in the morning market, making them in her free time after school. She chose the most beautiful blooming jasmine blossoms. But first she had to finish my homework and reading before she was allowed to weave jasmine garlands. These garlands didn't bring a high price at the market, but her work helped my family to save money to support my studies. She participates at every local festival in our town. Sometimes she's a Thai dancer, leading the parade to the temple. Sometimes she competes as a noppra-mad girl. Once she almost won first place, but that was only in a village contest. This is her personal challenge, and it is great fun and a good experience for her. She likes to study and play northern style music and perform northern style dance (the sword dance, spear dance, and so forth), and she plays the sa bud chai drum. This drum is played before a soldier goes to war, and again upon his return.

I found the choker easy to clasp. I like that it's adjustable. It's really well made. I prefer chokers because they don't hang down, and swing into things.

Pearl and Silver Earrings 'Nocturnal Symphony' Review

I don't collect shoes, or purses, but I do collect earrings. I have quite a few earrings from Novica. Recently I got Pearl and Silver Earrings 'Nocturnal Symphony' to review.

I love that these are different than any other pair I have. They add a splash of uniqueness to what I'm wearing. They go with a lot of different colors: Grey, black, blue, white, or even blown. I feel like the earrings are neutral enough that they could go with almost anything. 

After Christmas I did go get a box of clear plastic earring backs for my fishhook earrings. I was having the worst luck with them wanting to pop off when I took my coat, or shirt off. That problem was solved. I never see fishhook earrings come with backings. 

These earrings cast a spell of elegance and charm. Nareerat crafts them by hand on strings of silk featuring pearls and glistening glass. The pearl stone is my most used birthstone. Alexandrite is June's official birthstone, but not very many people use that one because the stone is so expensive. I love pearls. Black pearls in specific add a unique quality to jewelry. They are so pretty!

Novica takes pride in their products. They always have their jewelry in a special bag that's a keepsake. Most of the time I toss the packaging. Not when I get things from Novica.

WW: Creations of the week {Linky}

Isaak had been making hand made puppets. He made them for Mica's friend birthday party that was on Saturday. I don't think Mica appreciated all the work that went into them though. Older brothers can be like that some times.

Some have googly eyes, some have marker eyes. Then he tore apart  popsicle sticks to to hold them up; attached them with tape.

I just love his creativity!

I made a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Cake for Mica's friend party. I was going to make his scarf/mask thing red. I guess Mica doesn't like that turtle as much as the others. To me it's cake. It all tastes the same. I guess in a kid's world it matters.

The cake was 2 round cakes layered on top of one another. I don't even frost between them. I just let the freezer stick them together. The sides were slightly cut. The cut pieces went on for his nose area. I used an orange fruit roll-up for his mask, dark chocolate ships for the eyes, 1/2 a red candy melt for the tongue and the rest was frosting.

I just always thought TMNT were an odd mix. What's usually considered slow turtles are ninjas. Then they like pizza. It's all so odd to me. My boys love them though.
