- Last week the students had off Good Friday, and this week they had off Monday. The Education Director was here, and has a centrally located office. One student did come in because she's a paid worker. She takes out the trash, and fills toilet paper and paper towels. The student came in from outside said asked the Education Director, "What am I supposed to do? The back doors are locked. I got locked out, so I had to walk around." He sat there awkwardly for what seemed like 2 or 3 minutes. Finally I piped up from a back cubical and said, "Is there something I can do? You have a few options: Prop the door open, while you do the trash, or I can unlock it. Just let me know which thing you want me to do? She decided to prop the door open. I too have faced some awkward moment with the Education Director. He's nice, just quiet.
- My brother in law said over the holiday to my uncle, "I just don't like basketball." My uncle asked, "Why?" My brother in law said, "It's the squeaky shoes." I never really thought about that bothering anyone.
- Isaak got more jewelry from my Aunt that was my Grandma's. She handed him a whole box of costume jewelry. Oh joy more stuff we get to hold onto. He was pretty upset when he collected a ton of her rings, and was told to give most of them back. That kid cracks me up! He's a total boy with playing. He typically has some injury on his legs. He's proud of his battle wounds. He likes sports, Chess Club, gardening, and more. Then he'll turn around and dig crafts, and my Grandma's old jewelry. I love it! He amuses me.
Isaak picked out this hair clip to put in my hair:
It slid right on out. My hair is so slippery. It has zero texture.
Travis picked it up, and said, "Hey there's my nipple ring. He put it in his chest hair. It gave us all a laugh. I think it held better there than in my hair. - I've had Bennie and the Jets in my head for a week. I appreciate Elton John, but never really loved his music.
Every morning this week I've gotten up singing, "Travis! Travis! Insert high pitch! T.T.T. Travis and the jets!" Later towards dinner I sing, "Mica! Mica! Insert high pitch! Ma.Ma.Ma. Mica likes his pets!" Then I start dancing with him. If he's in a good mood he loves it. I mean who wouldn't? Ha! We don't even have any pets! I really haven't sang it to Isaak. - I ran across these weird food at the grocery store. It was odd that the product was with the ice cream. I like macaroni, but this just grosses me out. Carbs on top of carbs with fake plastic cheese in the middle. In was also odd it was with the ice cream. Have you ever seen this product before?

Mama's #jewelry for #valentinesday Review

I have to confess that I had this ring, and I lost it. I never loose much of anything. I looked at other rings, but ended up going with the ring I lost.
I also liked the ring below. It's more expensive, than the one above. They both are pretty!
I really liked these 2 designs below, but they didn't have a preview to look at. That was the only thing that prevented me from getting one of them. I had trouble visualizing them with just 2 stones.
I like more modern rings. I'm not a big fan of conservative ring designs. They have plenty of conservative designs on their site; if that's what you like.

I thought about making a whole family ring, instead of a son only ring. The site doesn't tack on more money with each stone if it's an imitation stone.

There are 3 beans to clasp it. I kind of wish there were a few more. I clasped it all the way for a bracelet and on the loosest one to wear it as an anklet.
I have a medium sized wrist, and skinny ankles. I felt like it was a bit loose on my wrist, and a just right on my ankle. I wondered, what if someone has thick ankles unlike mine? Then this may not fit them.
Overall I like the fashion of this! I think I'll wear it as an anklet more than a bracelet. I just hate typing with bracelets on.

Elephant Ring Review
I got an Elephant Ring to go with my Elephant Necklace and Earrings.
It came with a little box, which makes it perfect for a present.
Material:
The ring is fairly thick. It has the surface width of 10 millimeters. I like it because people can see the elephant pattern. It's 18-karat gold-plated. It has many elephants standing nose-to-tail that go around the entire ring.
I like that it can go with many different things. I can be worn to dress up, or down.
There are small rhinestones that fit into the bodies of the elephants. They are not flashy, just stylish.
I love the look of it. I have a very patterned tunic dress that I will wear this with. Again I like that it can be worn with just jeans and and t-shirt, or a dress. It's very versatile.
Since it's spring I took some photos of the ring with our dwarf Magnolia.

I love elephants. I have elephant earrings, and now I have an Elephant Necklace made by: Vogue Jewelry. Soon I'll get an Elephant Ring too! YAY!

Sterling Silver Hoop Earrings 'Paradise'
Guess who's birthday is coming up? Mine is. It's the first day of summer. I told Travis I want some pretty earrings. I love different earrings, and necklaces. I could do without bracelets because I'm always working on art, doing dishes, or typing.
I just reviewed .925 Sterling Silver Hoop Earrings called 'Paradise' from one of my favorite companies: Novica. I said, "Travis wrap them up for me please."
It drives Travis nuts when I get items to review, and want them as gifts. Really, I promise they are pretty! He agreed that they are. He make jewelry himself, so he knows quality and good design.
I like Novica so much because they are artist friendly. Yes I like things made in the US to support our workers, but I also like the fact that Novica brings different cultures into their products. They don't hold back that they work from artists around the world. You know how I like different types of music? I like different types of art and jewelry to. They are associated with National Geographic. They believe in global happiness. This world is large, yet small place. We need to work with one another. There's something special about getting a drum from Africa, a set of earrings from Bali, a necklace from Thailand, and so on.
The opulent hoop earrings I got are finely crafted showcase Balinese design. They are made by the artist Sriasih. I'm in love with them.
Like all of Novica's products the earrings come in a bag, which makes them fun to give.
Each item also comes with a little book that gives a description of the earrings, and the artist. Some items have a hand written note from the artist to. This one didn't, but I love when I get handwritten notes from someone afar.
I found the earrings easy to put on. Some I struggle with, and I have to have Travis or Isaak help me. Isaak loves putting jewelry on me. He's very gentle with that.
These are .925 sterling arabesques swirl amid silver petals and granules in contemporary heirloom earrings.

Her name is Anusara Konkam. She was born to a small but very warm family consisting of her father, mother, and her older brother. She loves art and nature and considers herself a 'natural' woman. She likes to create embroidered works and grow flowers at home. When she was a child, she wove jasmine garlands to sell in the morning market, making them in her free time after school. She chose the most beautiful blooming jasmine blossoms. But first she had to finish my homework and reading before she was allowed to weave jasmine garlands. These garlands didn't bring a high price at the market, but her work helped my family to save money to support my studies. She participates at every local festival in our town. Sometimes she's a Thai dancer, leading the parade to the temple. Sometimes she competes as a noppra-mad girl. Once she almost won first place, but that was only in a village contest. This is her personal challenge, and it is great fun and a good experience for her. She likes to study and play northern style music and perform northern style dance (the sword dance, spear dance, and so forth), and she plays the sa bud chai drum. This drum is played before a soldier goes to war, and again upon his return.

I found the choker easy to clasp. I like that it's adjustable. It's really well made. I prefer chokers because they don't hang down, and swing into things.
