WW: Airplane Ride {Linky}

We just got back from Arizona last week. It was Isaak's first airplane ride, and Mica's first one that he can remember.

Sorry if I was kind of absent last week.

My favorite shot was a silhouette of Isaak. He was so excited!

Then there was Mica that's not scared of roller coasters, but was freaking out about the plane taking off. In his defense I'm the opposite. The poor boy was also drugged up on Benadryl because he had an unexplained rash that ended up covering his body. That's a whole post in its self.

Since I don't fly all that often, I took some photos.

Do you like airplane rides?

They Rode a Camel

First off, I wanted to pre-post some stuff for the weekend. Like my "Sing, Sing a Song Saturday" post. It just didn't happen. It was a busy week last week!

Do you ever say, "Man I wish I had my camera?" That was me once this weekend.

This weekend we drove 5 hours to Moberly, Missouri to see Grandma and Grandpa Apel. It's near Columbia, Missouri.

I registered the boys and their cousin on that side to go to the Lowes Clinic. I thougth Grandpa would like to build a little something with them. The problem is, is that he can't stand in one spot for long. He's had back and knee problems. We didn't know if we should go, or not. We decided to go because the boys were stir crazy; meaning they needed something to do. Grandpa's answer, "No." turned into a, "Yes I'll join you."

It was rush, rush getting out of the house, so I neglected to grab my camera.

On our way back to their house. We stopped to give the boys a camel ride at a petting zoo.

We got crappy pictures from Daddy's cell phone. I wish I would have gotten good pictures of Grandpa helping the boys with their Lowes Clinic project and the camel ride.

I did happen to get the boys with Grandpa Apel later on. Grandma Apel was hiding in the kitchen.

 Daddy had to close his eyes. When I went to take a 2nd shot, Isaak ran off.

Oh So Sleepy

Grandma and Grandpa have given up on having Isaak lay down for a nap. I don't blame them, I don't have him nap all the time either.

Wednesday, Thursday and Friday Isaak looked like this by the time we got home at 5:30:

Oh and it looks like I need to check little man's work with buckling. He insists on doing it. I have to say it's a lot easier to have him do it. The lower belt is over the handle and the upper belt is not in the slot.

Whenever I turned on the radio, or started asking him questions about his day he said, "Mommy I'm tired. Can we just be quiet?" This is coming from Mr. Jabber Mouth himself.

On the way to Grandma and Grandpa's house on Friday Isaak was singing Christmas songs. I started singing along. It was a week after all that I couldn't sing from being sick. I had just gotten back my singing voice (sort of). I was excited to sing. That was until he said, "Don't sing Mommy! That's the song I know. You don't go to preschool, so you don't know them." I tried telling him otherwise, but he wouldn't have it. He was convinced that these songs were his.

WW: Amtrak {Linky}

Mica was focused on what was outside the window.
Isaak always colors with all the colors.
Snack time!
The Junior Conductor hat made Isaak happy!
Of course Mica loved his hat as well!

Pony Ride

Part of our Staycation included a pony ride for the boy's at Mahoney State Park.

Isaak was so excited to ride the cute pony's! Isaak was all smiles the whole ride. He kept saying, "He's so cute!" and giggled. He rode a horse named Rusty that had floppy hair just like Isaak's! ;)

Mica said right away that he did not want to go on a horse. He said he was too shy to go on a horse around other people. Well the other people left. Mica chose to ride "Buck". He kept pretending to be a cowboy.
