I have been going on power walks. I try and go during my lunch break and on the weekends. If it's cold do the stairs.
Usually this time of year the ground is frozen in spots, so I have to be careful. Not this year. It got up to 50 degrees this weekend. It was grey, but it was warm. It will get cold though. Tonight rain is supposed to turn into sleet. Ekkk!
Mica and I busted out our Suddora Sport Head Band, and Wristbands to wear, and went for a walk.
I think their sweatbands are super comfortable! They are durable, 80% cotton, 12% spandex, and 8% nylon. The headband is 2x7" and the wristbands are 3 1/2x4".
Colors:
I'm confused on how many colors this set comes in. The site shows 18, but in the description it says it comes in 10, then in another spots it says 9 colors: Black, White, Blue, Pink, Orange, Yellow, Red, Green, Grey, and Purple. I'm leaning towards 18 colors, because I can see all the colors pop up, and there is a way to order all those different colors.
I chose the color red. I just love that color.
Cost:
Each set is $6.99
Above 25 they are $5.99
Above 50 they are $4.99
Above 100 they are $3.99
That works great for ordering in bulk for sports teams, gifts, or a marathon.
I happen to think that anyone that is active would love these. They remind me of the 80s, which was a fun time in my book.

100% Plant Based Konjac Sponge Infused with French Green Clay Review
I've only used sponges on art projects. To make texture.
When I got a 100% Plant Based Konjac Sponge Infused with French Green Clay to review I was interested to see how it would feel.
Before the sponge was wet it was hard. I couldn't even imagine what it would do to my skin. Boy did it change when it got wet. It felt wonderful!
It exfoliates, cleanses, and is naturally pH balanced.
I'd feel comfortable using this on my kid's skin. It's soft, and it cleans and exfoliates at the same time.
Features:
- It's 100% Natural
- Eco-Friendly
- Biodegradeable
- Free of Chemicals
- Free of Pollution
- Free of Irritants
- Lasts Longer Than Other Songes
- Has NO Added Dyes or Colorants
- Hydrates Quickly
- Can be Used Daily
- Fights Blackheads and Breakouts
- Has a String to Hang it in the Shower
- Has a Special Tear Drop Shape to Clean in Small to Big Spots
- Fits in the Palm of Your Hand
- 100% Biodegradable and Sustainable (You can even plant it in your flowerbed or compost when you want to retire it
- Not Tested on Animals
- Vegan Friendly
Pure Konjac Powder, Water, and French Green Clay.
Konjac fiber is grown on the pristine volcanic plains of Jeju Island in South Korea.
They also sell French Red Clay Infused, Bamboo Charcoal Infused, and Original Pure White.
Directions:
- Rinse in warm water. Allow the sponge to absorb the water.
- Cleanse your face. No added cleansers are required. It does work with non-foaming cleansers if needed.
- Press the water out with your hands, and air dry. It dries fairly quickly. I imagine no mold build up unlike using something else to clean with.

Pepperment Oil - 100% Pure & Natural Essential Oil Review
I got a large 4 ounce bottle of Peppermint Oil - 100% Pure and Natural Essential Oil by Pure Body Naturals to review. It comes with a glass eye dropper. A
This Peppermint Oil is Steam-distilled from leaves of the Menthapiperita (peppermint) plant. Completely Pure without additives or filler. Therapeutic Grade. Suitable for Vegetarians and Vegans. No animal testing was used in the making of this product.
What I love about essential oils is that they have multiple uses.
Soothing and Energizing:
- Relieves headaches.
- Helps ease respiratory problems.
- Helps to ease symptoms of asthma and bronchitis.
- Reduces dandruff and lice problems.
- Helps reduce joint and arthritis pain.
- Makes you feel a little, or a lot more relaxed.
Open up your airways and relieve mucus from the nose and throat. Put Peppermint Oil into boiling water and breathe in the steam from the water. I've done this, and it really helped open my breathing up.
Reduce anxiety levels with the use of the peppermint oil with aromatherapy. The mint, sweet, menthol aroma will help relaxation in the body and mind.
Natural and Nontoxic:
- You can use this around the garden, home, or in the office with no worries.
Multi-Purpose:
- Repels rodents such as rats, and mice.
- Repels insects such as fleas, tics, flies, rats, mosquitoes, mice, midges, spiders, bed bugs, ants, and roaches.
I like to use my peppermint oil in the bath. It's relaxing. You can put drops right in the water. I made Homemade Peppermint Brown Sugar Scrub.
Recipe:
- Fill the container 1/2 full with brown sugar. You can do 1/2 brown sugar and 1/2 white sugar.
- Melt coconut oil, and pour into the sugar. Stir until it's all mixed up.
- If it's too much of a liquid at this point, add more sugar. Continue to stir.
- Add drops of peppermint. Add as many as you like smell wise. Stir some more, and you're done.
I use this on my legs and arms in the shower. Isaak has dry hands in the winter, and he loves using it on his hands.
The peppermint oil makes you relaxed, and opens up my airways. The coconut oil makes my skin feel so soft.
Note: This is for external use only. It's ok to breathe it in, but it's not meant to mix with foods.

SantaWillWrite Review
Start a new Holiday Tradition that will quickly be your child's
favorite! Santa is ready to send a beautiful package fully personalized
just for your special loved ones.
My boys got their package in the mail yesterday. They were super excited because it was unexpected.

Ordering it was easy. You type in your child's name, what they want for Christmas, and something they've done good with that year.
The only part that confused me was the sibling part. They said said on the site that ordering a letter for siblings can be done. I typed in Isaak's information. There was no spot to put Mica's. I thought it would take me to a new page for an extra letter. The site did take me to a new page that asked me for a sibling's letter. Then they wanted to charge me for a whole other package. Yes they have letter options for siblings, but it is another package that you have to buy. It's not that I expected an additional letter to be free, but their website made me think it was free. Ideally I think each extra kid should be an additional fee, but not the cost of a whole other $19.95 package.
I ended up filling out my original Santa's letter with both my kid's names on it {Mica and Isaak}. Before I gave my kids their package I read the letter I changed a few things to be plural. Luckily both boys want the same things, and have done well with school. I just did not have it in my budget to buy an additional package. I could imagine if you have multiple kids packages like this can really add up.
Mica read the letters right away. Isaak did the activities. They then told Dad, and Grandma and Grandpa about their set.
Simply select the package you would like and watch your child's absolute JOY when he or she receives a letter straight from the North Pole that talks all about them personally - what they want for Christmas and what they have done to be good. Watch your child's eyes light up when they see their names on the Nice List!
Bring the magic of Christmas into your child's life with santawillwrite.com.

The stamp is special.
The package came with Christmas tattoos.
Stickers that the child can put in a room. Isaak did this:
A few activities.
A Nice List Certificate. Mica loved this!
The best part of all a letter from Santa and Rudolph.

My Little Santa and Elf
A week ago we went to a holiday open house for a building that is filled with artist's studios. It's called the Hot Shops Art Center. We like it. The kids...not so much.
At typical gallery openings I give my kids something to do. The last one Isaak did this:
Dad thought I was nuts for giving Isaak something like that to do. I made sure the mess stayed on the paper.
Sometimes we bring a portable DVD player to.
With a big open house, and all kinds of studios to see there isn't time to give the boys something to do. We're walking around the whole time.
Mica kept saying, "I'm hungry!" Even though he ate right before we left. Isaak kept bumping into Mica.
I like to go, fast walk through everything, and leave. But...Dad has to stop, see, and talk.
I enjoy seeing things. I offer my students extra credit if they show me a picture of them there. They all have Smart Phones it seems. One girl liked it so much she went there both days.
They have glass blowing, a bronze pour, and other things going on. It's really great. Just not ideal for kids.
They did like this display. What kid wouldn't? How fun!
