Fun With an Extra Napkin

We went out to brunch this weekend. While we were waiting for our check Isaak had fun with an extra napkin at the table.

His out on a ranch look.

His smolder face.

There was a dust storm in the restaurant

A napkin bonnet.

This one isn't the best photo, but it cracks me up. I picture him saying, "I feel pretty. Oh so pretty!"

He had one as an exercise sweat band to, but the photo was horrible. This boy loves to move!

An accident happened while we were there. A server dropped a whole coffee pot. It sort of exploded on the ground. All the workers were laughing. All I could think of was, "Geez I'm glad she didn't get burnt!"

WW: Mulhall's {Linky}

We went to see the live reindeer at Mulhall's Landscaping and Nursery in Omaha.

Santa was there to. My boys are getting too big for his lap! Isaak still 1/2 way believes, so we still go to see Santa.

Isaak was happy he got a candy cane!

Cuddle Time

I never knew there were so many varieties of Poinsettia!

Do you have a large nursery where you live?

DIY Gifts

So far this year I've made loaves of bread for teachers, my grandpa and one of my aunt's.

I've also made a spread of cookies: Peanut Butter, Roll out Sugar Cookies, Chocolate Malt Cookies, and Foam Mint Cookies. I made different types of Chocolate Chip Cookies: Chocolate Chip Cherry Cookies, Chocolate Chip Mint Cookies, and Chocolate Chip Espresso Cookies.

I made much of the wrapping paper I've used.

Mica and I made Wake Up Spray for the teachers.

Isaak and I made Peppermint Lip Balm for the teachers.

I made a Turtle Washer Necklace for my nephew Evan.

What kinds of gifts do you make?

Random Tid Bits

  1. I spent much of the day last Saturday making roll out sugar cookies. I went to put them in the deep freezer, and dropped the tin. I may of yelled out, "Oh fudge!" only I didn't say "fudge"! At least I yelled that downstairs, when everyone else was upstairs.

  2. I have a really difficult group of students this year in 2 of my classes. I'm hoping it's just this class, and not a generation thing. Please tell me this too shall pass!

-Most of them have no sense of urgency.

-They don't have that inner need to compete.

-Most of them don't come talk to me, or try and get caught up if and when they are gone.

-Many of them can't take criticism. I had one girl tell me that it hurt her feeling to be critiqued. Any field in the arts you have to develop a thick skin. For some reason it was a big deal this week. I tell them what's good, and what's not working. I never bash a piece - and that's it.

  3. Mica's teacher was on the news this week. Her daughter was shot 3 times: Twice in the back, and once in the neck. The 2nd shot she played dead. The shooter killed his ex and his ex's 2 year old daughter, and 3 other people. It just so happens that Mica's teacher's 21 year old daughter is in critical, yet stable condition. I'd like to do something for her, but I don't know what. Christmas time is coming up, so I was going to do something then. Mica told her he is sorry to hear about her daughter.

  4. It really bothers me when a blogger has a giveaway up, it ends, and it's there for a week or 2 before they pick a winner. I'm not referring to any regular bloggers that comment on here.

  5. There's a garden nursery here that has real reindeer. I'm taking my boys there this weekend.

NeoCell Biotin Bursts Review

I recently got NeoCell Biotin Bursts in Brazilian Acai Berry flavor to review.

Having beautiful and radiant skin has never been so delicious and easy.

They deliver high-potency beauty nutrients in a gourmet soft chew.

It comes in a box that has really pretty packaging.

Inside the box is a foil type bag that zips up for extra freashness.

I do with they'd make the bag and box smaller, to not waist packaging space.

There are 30 soft chews in a bag. It is suggested to take 1 chew daily.

Unwrap

The Brazilian Acai Berry flavor tastes wonderful!
