Mica must be singing This Land is Your Land in school.
He was singing in the car last night:
This land is your land, this land is my land
From California, to the New York Island
From the redwood forest, to the gulf stream waters
This land was made for you and me
Then he stopped and said, "Daddy where is the redwood forest that they are talking about in the song? Where is the gulf stream waters?"
He thinks well beyond what I did at that age! I just sang the song, and didn't give it too much thought.

Like you, I never thought about where the places were, I just sang.
That's funny because I never thought about that ever! I hardly ever "really" notice lyrics.
What a smart little guy. I remember singing that when I was little...and that thought never crossed my mind. LOL!
