One project I've wanted to do for awhile was paint chalkboard paint in my boy's metal lunch boxes.
I kept forgetting about it, or putting the project on the back burner.
Well...I finally did it.
I found that a sponge roller worked best. I need to go to the art supply store and get some chalk pencils. My boys have chalk on their easel, but it's really dull.
I did write a note for Isaak:
Have you/Do you leave notes in your kid's lunch boxes?
The chalk cleans off well with a damp paper towel. It's not the same as writing on a chalk board, but it's close. It doesn't seem to rub off with the travel of the lunch. I thought possibly my cloth sandwich bags would rub off the chalk. NOPE!

Awww, how sweet is that? Sometimes I put little notes on paper in the boys lunchboxes and they like it, too!
I love this! My girls would be embarrassed to pull a note out from mom, but I would love yo make something like this anyway!
