CanYouHandlebar EDC Kit: Wisdom Beard Oil and Wax Review

My husband has been supporting a beard off and on ever since we got married.

He hates shaving. It actually hurts his skin to shave.

He doesn't like what his naked chin looks like. He says not having facial hair makes him look 12. It's true he looks really young without it.

I kind of like the stubble look myself. Whatever works for him, works for me to.

I got CanYouHandlebar EDC Kit: Wisdom Beard Oil and Wax for him to review. It's a $45.99 kit, and is on sale for $39.99.

Design

I love their look as far as the packaging, design, and containers go. The flask is just a neat idea for Beard Oil!

Shipping

I had a little problem with the shipping. The oil leaked out. On the site it says the oil can be put safely in your bag, or pocket. I wouldn't put it in those things because it leaked in the shipping box. I have a feeling that this is something we'll keep in the bathroom.

I can't see him wanting to carry the products with him anyhow. Except it would be nice to pack it when we go on vacation.

All Natural Ingredients in the oil
  • Olive Oil
  • Grapeseed Oil
  • Apricot Oil
  • Jojoba, Argan
  • Vitamin E
  • Essential Oils

The scent is of fresh cut spruce and cedar. It is warm and fresh but definitely masculine.

It helps with beard dandruff, or what I call beardruff.

The oil is fairly small, but if you've ever used natural oils, they go a long way.

Directions For the Oil

Pour a little in your hand or Beard Oil Brush. Massage the oil into your whole beard, front and back. Comb your beard with a Beard Comb. If you have a dog, you can pet your dog to get oils off your hands. It's all safe oils.

All Natural Ingredients in the Wax
  • Local wax from Michigan bee hives
  • USP lanolin
  • Castor Oil
  • Coconut Oil
  • Shea Butter
  • Vitamin E
There isn't much of a scent with the Moustache Wax. It has a sweet smell, but it's not strong at all.

Directions For the Wax

The Primary Moustache wax is cool. It comes with a custom wax lifter - guitar pick. You can apply the wax with your pick, or your fingers. It helps with the unruly hairs that poke in every which direction. The wax doesn't make a moustache look waxy. It just helps hold its shape.

All their products are mixed by hand. The labels are waterproof and oil proof.

I really like the packaging...
Too bad Marc is the opposite and has NO hair :)
I thought it would leave Travis looking oily, but I don't see it :)

Chris isn't allowed to have facial hair (nor does he want it), but my brother has a grizzly goatee, so this might be good for him.

I like that the beard doesn't look weighed down or greasy with the product in. I bet Travis is happy to have a good product to help tame the beard now!

Look at all those great natural ingredients that this contains. Very healthy. No wonder his beard looks great.
