WW: Haircuts {Linky}

Mica kept saying that he wanted his hair cut. We didn't want to spend money on haircuts, so Dad cut their hair. He actually does really well with cutting hair. Much better than some of the people at Great Clips!

We've tried trash bags over them with a hole for their heads as a smock, but they get hot, and sticky. We didn't use anything this time. The hairs tickled their arms, chests and bellies. Maybe I need to take an old sheet, cut a hole in that for their heads, and use it for a smock.

Isaak really has trouble holding still. He giggles the whole time.

The hardest part about cutting his hair, is all the cowlicks in the back.

Mica had the biggest mop. His hair went down to this eyebrows, and past his ears.

The hard part when cutting his hair is how thick it is, and that his bangs grow in crooked. I've come back from getting his hair cut before, and it looks like someone had their scissors slanted.

Dad did a good job! I only have photos of the process, not the final results.

Never cut my son's hair. No way, I was too afraid that I would make a mistake.

looks like he enjoyed it! :) I don't bring Lil Pumpkin to the salon either as it's usually just a trim for her fringe or at the back.

My little guy has cowlicks in the back, too. I keep his hair buzzed to hide them.

I always cut my husband's hair as it grows fast and its so expensive to go to the barbers just for maintenance. We havent cut our son's hair yet. Its till his waist now. =)

My husband will buzz cut their hair. They do like going to Super Cuts to get a cut though. Your hubs did a great job!

My kids freak out if any hair touches them. I ordered a kid's cover thing for cutting hair from Amazon a couple of years ago. It helps. We cut their hair most of the time.

My mom used to cut mine and she did such a terrible job that I swore I'd never cut my own kiddo's, and I haven't. Lucky for them, I think I inherited her 'can't cut straight' gene. ;)

Great job on the hair cuts! I cut my boys' hair too. With three boys who need their hair cut every few months, it would be too expensive to take them to get it cut professionally.

I cut the girls hair too. I don't think I could be confident enough to to a boy hair cut though!

I recently came back from a haircut where the whole front half was too long, so I decided to try and fix it myself. I was terrified of getting it wrong, but I don't think I've ever had this many compliments on how good my hair looks :)

LOL... at least they are now older and don't cry when it is hair cut time. Maybe your kids didn't cry...

I would never cut Broxton's hair... I tried once, he moved and it was HORRIBLE... that ended that experience

I used to cut my daughter's hair but it didn't turn out so well. I cut my hair...Once in a while it turns okay, sometimes I do a horrible job. But I'm never happy with the cut and style I get at salons so I figure I can't do much worse myself.
