My husband has back issues, and joint problems.
I try to eat anti inflammatory foods. Recently I got COTUPEP to review.
- Pepper
- Turmeric
- Coconut Milk
Pros:
It's versatile. You can have it in just about any drink. I like it best in smoothies so far. It can even be used in salads.
It's anti inflammatory. I'll eat or drink anything that helps with that.
I love that there's no sugar added.
It's made in America.
In a really liquid drink you'll need to whisk it a lot. It gets thick and sinks to the bottom. That's why I like it in smoothies a lot. I'm thinking it should come with a small whisk. It also gets messy with their scoop.
In a really liquid drink
In a smoothie: Spinach Leaves, Frozen Mango, Banana, a scoop of COTUPEP and Orange Juice
Cost:
$27.50 on sale for $19.99.
Do you take anything that's anti inflammatory?

I tried a turmeric tea last winter and was not fond of it. I wonder if I mixed this in food I could mask the flavor. I bet it would be good for ulcerative colitis flares and helping to tame them.
I take fish oil too for its anti-inflammatory properties. I had really bad muscles aches recently and took that a lot more. Was thinking of taking tumeric too but how's the taste for this?
Ai @ Sakura Haruka
I don't mind the taste Ai. I can slightly taste the pepper, otherwise it's pretty tasteless. I just don't like the texture. That's why I prefer it in smoothies.
we take daily vitamins now, but that is about it...
back home in Indonesia, we have the fresh turmeric drink, mixed with natural palm sugar, and it's sooo good. It certainly makes my body fresh :)
