#bohemian #sweater #cardigan Review

Bohemian Style:

I just got this Bohemian Stripe Knitted Cardigan Sweater. I'm in love with the Bohemian Style, so much! It's cool because there's lots of color, patterns, and can go with many things.

You can dress up Bohemian clothes with slacks, black pants, or a black skirt. It can also be worn on days where you don't want to dress up; by pairing it with jeans.

I happen to have Bohemian shoes, so I wore them with the sweater. My pants and top under the sweater were all black.

Good for Snowy Days:

Yesterday it snowed. The boys got off school, for the second time this winter, due to snow. My students had class. I really didn't want to go in to teach; it was cold, the boys were home having fun without me, and I knew many students wouldn't show up.

I actually had most of my class show up in the morning, but they trickled down to a wapping two students by the afternoon. It boosted my moral by wearing something new, and warm. The classroom I was in is always cold.

What the Bohemian Sweater is Made of:

I’m not to fond of what it’s made of:

55% nylon
40% acrylic
5% rabbit fur

I wish companies would add less plastic in clothing, and packaging! I'm ok with animal fur as long as the animal passed away naturally, or it's being used fully. Native Americans used animal fur, but they also used their bones, their meat and so on. I hate the idea of animals being killed just so one part of them being used, for our consumption. Does that make any sense? I know only 5% is rabbit fur, while the rest is other things. What are the best things to use to make fabrics? Any thoughts?

Care:

It can be washed in a standard washer!

I actually bumped into the car yesterday when I was cleaning it off. The sweater got black snow on it. Those that live in the south, snow is only pretty, for one day. After that it's a black slushy mess; from cars, trucks, busses, and SUVs! I just washed my sleeve in the sink with a drop of hand soap, and it came clean.

Where to Get This Stylish Bohemian Sweater?

You can get it for $145, but it's on sale for $65 at Backnear https://backnear.com/collections/sweaters/products/bohemian-stripe-knitted-cardigan.

It did take a long time to get it. I'm spoiled with Amazon Prime. I think it was worth the wait. I'll wear it a lot.

Are you a big fan of cardigans and sweaters?

Disclaimer: I got this product, for a heavy discount in order to help with my review. The company did not tell me what to say. All opinions are my own.

Superhero Fitness Tee Shirt Review

Mica's always been such a superhero fan. I was super excited to get a superhero tee shirt to review at BruneiStore: https://mybruneistore.com/free-shipping-2016-t-shirt-supermanbatmanspider-mancaptain-america-hulkiron-man-t-shirt-men-fitness-shirts-men-t-shirts

They have 23 designs to choose from. I wanted the shirt to be a surprise, so I picked out a Captain America shirt.

It's Patriotic:

Red, White, Blue with stars and stripes. Happy Fourth of July!

He later told me that they have another Captain America shirt he would have picked. He must like this one though. He took off the shirt he was wearing, threw it on the couch, and wore this one for the rest of the day.

Sizes:
  • Extra Small
  • Small
  • Medium
  • Large
  • Extra Large
  • Extra, Extra Large
  • Extra, Extra, Extra Large
  • Extra, Extra, Extra, Extra Large
That may seem crazy that they go up that much in sizing. It is Asian sizing, so their shirts run small. I got Mica an Adult Medium thinking it would be a bit big. Nope! It fits just right. If you go buy one, buy up a size or 2 if you're buying for someone that is growing like a weed - like Mica is.

This shirt will fit Mica throughout the fall. Then it might be Isaak's, who is also growing like a weed.

Cost:

$29.99, but it's on sale for $24.99. They have free shipping worldwide on their site. If you have a PayPal account, you can check out through them.

Design:

I love that the design is on the front, back and side of their shirts. They are all that way!

So readers what's your favorite superhero? I liked my Wonder Woman Underroos, watching Superman - Christopher Reeve growing up, then when I got older I enjoyed Spider-Man - Toby Maguire. After that I lost interest. Too many superhero movies out there for me.

My boys like it all though. They even saw Wonder Woman with their leadership camp, when I haven't.

Happy Fourth of July!

Disclaimer: I received a discount on this tee shirt to help write this review. The company in no way influenced me in writing this.

Fashion Rainbow Women Ethnic Style Blouse Review

I love to wear things that have patterns on them. Recently I got Fashion Rainbow Women Ethnic Style Blouse to review. It has all kinds of colors, and patterns on it.

Material:

It's made with 100% rayon. It's a very soft fabric, loose, comfortable, and cool.

Clothing length including Tassel: 35", Shoulder: 19'', Cuff Width: 9", Bust: 34'', Tassel length: 10''-11''.

Front and Back:

The Things I Love:

I love that it is lightweight. I really feel like I'm not wearing anything extra. It could be worn in any season. I could see it with a long sleeve shirt, short sleeve shirt, dress, or swimming wrap. The patterns and colors are really pretty. It has a lot of different colors in it, so it can go with different things. It can be worn to dress up, or to dress casual.

Dislikes:

I really don't like the bottom of this vest! The fringes get caught on everything including the table, sitting down on a chair, a cart I walked by, and Isaak likes to pull on them. What happens is that one is pulled making it long, which makes the others around it short. I just wish the fringes were gone. I'm going to see if I can remove them. I like everything else about the vest.

Care:

It says on Amazon that this can be washed in the washer using cold water. It's suggested to hand wash. I think the fringes would be a disaster after 1 washing. I plan on only spot cleaning this. The shirt under it would the item of clothing I'd need to wash anyhow.

Size:

It's One Size Fits Most. I'm a size Large. They have the suggested sizes: XS-L.

I normally don't wear vests, but I love how this adds color and patterns to what I'm wearing. Do you ever wear vests, cardigans, kimono, or a sweater as a pop of color?

Disclaimer: I received this sleeveless vest for a discount in exchange for an honest review.

Easy Peasy Patches Inc. Giveaway

One thing is true about my 7 year old: He is horrible about putting holes in his pants! The pants below aren't even pants that were handed down to him. I got them off the clearance rack at Gymboree.

I am so glad we got patches to review from Easy Peasy Patches Inc.

They are a brand new, patent pending product; there is nothing on the market like them!

They Sent Me 5 Patches to Review.

My favorite is the monster patch. Isaak likes the soccer ball the most.

I think the flag one will be used for the forth of July:

I'm not as crazy about the next 2, but again they sent us a variety to use the ones we do like the most.

Easy Peasy Patches Are Extremely Durable, Permanent, Fabric Sticker Patches.
  1. What I love the most is that they require NO ironing or sewing.
  2. What I like second is that they will go through the washer, dryer and even the dishwasher.
Easy Peasy Patches Can be Used to Mend, Decorate and Accessorize anything:
  • Jeans
  • Backpacks
  • Messenger Bags
  • Duffle Bags
  • Water Bottles
  • Sporting Equipment
  • Craft Projects
  • And More...
Easy Peasy Patches Were Created as a Solution to a 'Mom Problem':

Children wearing out the knees in their pants before they outgrew them.

They have turned out to be so much more!  Easy Peasy Patches are great for Crafting! They can be cut to any size and drawn on with permanent ink markers.  Easy Peasy Patches now has a series of Craft Kits that are ideal for boys and girls to personalize all of their belongings.

Where to get Easy Peasy Patches:
  • Walmart.com
  • JoAnn Fabrics
  • Amazon
  • Sears
How to Apply Easy Peasy Patches:

If you have a child like mine that has worn holes in their pants it's best to sew fabric behind the hole. I sewed a white fabric behind Isaak's hole. If the hole is small, then you're safe to skip this step, and just put the patch on.

Warm the fabric in the dryer for 10 minutes. Take off the thin paper behind the patch, and apply it. It sticks VERY well, so make sure it's where you want it to be.

Isaak's still hard on his pants, but we have a Easy Peasy Patches solution!

He can be free to be the boy he is:
  • Fall
  • Climb
  • Walk Around on His Knees

Yes he's ok! :)

Now is Your Chance to Win a Set of Easy Peasy Patches for Yourself!
This giveaway will have 3 winners.

Warrior Poet Clothier T Shirt Review and Giveaway!

I knew as soon as I saw the t shirts on Warrior Poet Clothier that Mica had to have one. They just fit his personality so much! He's the adventurer, creative thinker, and a free spirit in our house. Warrior Poet Clothier fits all those categories.

On different days Mica can be seen dressed up like Indiana Jones, a Native American, a super hero or often times puts on a tie for no apparent reason.

We were given the t-shirt Live Like Heroes to review. They described the shirt on their website like this, "This shirt is cloaked in Valor and the battle-tested shield tells stories of legends passed down through the ages." It's perfect!

Warrior Poet Clothier has awesome shirts for boys! Everyone I know that has boys say they are hard to shop for! There's just not a lot of stores out there that have adventurous shirts. If a boy is into sports, they are set. Some are not. Part of Warrior Poet Clothier's mission is to be, "Balanced, stronger than most, more thoughtful than most–part of the leadership class who guides with wisdom and courage." - Gotten off Warrior Poet Clothier's site. When I find a place that has great boy clothing I brag about it.

My nephew that usually refuses to take pictures, tried on Mica's new shirt. He liked it. He was pretty happy to be wearing it.

The back has a shield and the front has continued straps that mimic holding up the shield and it says,

"What if we all lived like heroes?"

Here are some of the garment attributes:

I've washed the shirt twice. It washes to fit the size it says it is. The color stayed just as vibrant as when it first came to us.

Now it's time for the giveaway! One winner will have the chance to choose their own shirt from Warrior Poet Clothier if the size is available. If they are out of stock in a size you need; they will choose a shirt for you. You will not be unhappy. All their shirts rock!

A $28 value. This entry is for US residents only.
