Mica has been wanting a pirate patch for awhile. He carries around a plastic hanger; pretends it's a hook. Last night when we went to Borders, I saw a pirate dress up outfit from Melissa and Doug. Of course it was on sale! I bought it for both boys to share. It will soon go to Isaak because it's for ages 3 to 6. Mica loves dressing up. I love encouraging that.
Call it an early birthday present! His birthday is on Wednesday! We won't have his party until next weekend.

Love the costume. I am sure it will get great use. My son had a police costume when he was around 5. He would not take it off for the longest time. We would have to sneak it off him at night to wash and dry it before morning. Lol, what memories.
Love it!! We love dressing up too. We're actually going as pirates for Halloween this year! Thanks for linking with us again at the Sit and Relax weekend hop! See ya next time!

I like the eye patch :) Glad that Johny depp is done with the series, he got some competition :D
How cool is that!! My daughter is only 21 months but soon I hope she will love to play dress up too. I have two older sons, a 24 year old and a 18 year old, so playing dress up and girl toys are so different for me but just as fun. I think some are a little bit much fun because they keep me from working!
We went to Borders this past weekend and got so many books. I will not only miss being able to get great books there and at Barnes and Noble but I will miss storytime and book clubs too.
very nice blog Thank you!
