RushHour Shift Game Review

My boys discovered RushHour when they were in preschool. Since that time we've moved up to an advanced version of RushHour. Recently RushHour Shift was sent to us by ThinkFun

It's the same fun as RushHour, but there's one really important difference RushHour is for 1 player, RushHour Shift is a 2 player game.

It comes with a book of instructions, and different ways to layout the game board.

Mica likes to set up the board. It's like it's his job to set up the board.

Objective;

One player is the silver car, and the other player is the gold car. Each player is trying to move their car across the board. It reminds me of the old game Frogger.

There are different types of cards:

Both players get 4 cards that they can look at. Every time a player gets rid of a card, they pick up a new card.

You can move any car, but the opponents.

A number card indicates how many spaces you can go. You can move your car one space, and another car one space | Your car two spaces | Another car two spaces

A number - shift card indicates how many spaces you can go. You can move your car one space, and another car one space | Your car two spaces | Another car two spaces

The symbol at the bottom indicates that you can shift the game board.

A shift card indicates that you can shift the game board, without the player moving at all.

The card below indicated you can move your car as far as it will go until it hits another vehicle, or until it runs off the board and that player wins.

When we shift the game board it's usually to mess up the other person. I'm the silver car. I won! Isaak asked to play again.

This game is super fun. It's $24.99. I love that it has a bag that comes with it. Yes boxes are cool, but they take up a lot of room. The bag makes it easy to travel with this game. It's for ages 8 to adult, but Isaak's not even 7, and he understands it.

Features:
  • Traffic Grid
  • 12 Blocking Vehicles
  • 2 Hero Cars
  • 32 Cards
  • Instructions with 10 Game Set-Ups
  • Travel Bag
ThinkFun also gave me RushHour to. :)
